the retractable roof is a good idea..soon as cold weather comes and snow close it..wont lose any games then... the benefits of moving the pitch round,,easy,lay undersoil heating again...no more cancelled games....oh but it costs too much to run....erm nope....put solar panels on roofs of all stands,runs itself and reduces the enrgy bills... all opinions are vallied..anyone who dont like em,,well tough :censored:...its a forum...not parliment

or down...as in build in a basement to house the changing rooms an all that...leaves more scope for upstairs then... new canilever roof on chaddy end and a couple of bars would suffice and we can always build the corners in...long long time in the future before we need extra capacity,but agree it should be incorporated in.

fully possible in my eyes... take the roof off,like they did the season we went up...with modern engineering these days im sure we could come up with a solution so we have no stansions in the way,the clayton arms isnt there now so easier....put a couple of bars in one at each end and that will pretty much suffice for the chaddy end... regarding expanding...you could always move the portacabins on legs....after allim sure much better corporate facilities will be included in new main stand...and fill the corners in

not read everything posted..but how i see it... great we build a new MAIN stand on the lookers which will incorporate conferencing and a hotel....this will help us along the way to self sustainability. once club is making money then the chaddy end will be looked at,and hopefully incorporate other things,then the current main stand lastly.... correct me if im wrong,but isnt this what everyone wanted in the first place and why failsworth got such a negative spin on it...

not really...players still having trials,maybe its a simple case of players we are chasing are leaving there options open until the very last moment....maybe after tonights game taylor has a blinder burnley offer a million then we will make signings....who knows... the loan market will always be the route we take...if it gets us up i dont care...least dickov brings in loan players who enhance the team...

once they have left thats pretty much it,unless they have gone to a team in our division then only really think about them if were due to play each other...lifes to short to worry about what ex players are doing,rather concentrate on current squad

seasons not even started yet and were talking suspensions and injuries biting already!!!... there are still a lot of players not fixed up with clubs...we dont know how many players dickov has got in on trial or has invited for trials,this will continue throughout preseason and i imagine into first few months of season....why spend money now when you dont need to,just to placate the few who want us to...keep the money safe until needed,unless we have a calamatous friendly with 6 or 7 players going down.....

it isnt a problem as such....just the idea of the playershare doing this kind of thing means all money made goes towards the managers player fund....as and when is needed.. the club selling them means all the money goes to the club,but is more likely to be swallowed up by other things and more than likely not find its way to the managers funds...

think they have pinched the idea from player share idea tbh....

its always going to be tough,thats just how it is with our budget and fanbase....economics dictate we should... both sheffield teams in this division now and huddersfield with pots of cash to throw at players.... however,i cant be pessimistic like a lot on here....and i think if we get 3 or 4 players in,settle down quickly and have a good start to the season i fully expect us to improve on last seasons position....id be happy with top ten and flirt with the playoffs and a cup run.cant see us going down...
