they shouldnt,its down to the club and its marketing team to get posters done and promote the team and the club,something we seem totally inept at doing... there is no reason why we cant have a huge poster at the top of sheepfoot lane with a picture of a player down one side and the seasons fixtures down the other..the boards there already,just needs printing....

ok...the current staff are more likely to put people off than be innavative and step up to the mark....even big joe says its like putting on a comfy pair of slippers going back to the club.with the same faces.....thats why if we ever do get a new ground we need more forward thinking people in the ilk of sean jarvis...

the club would have to be run more efficiently if we ever move to a new ground..the club would need to get in lots of new people,instead of the old fashioned little oldham type staff we have now...

the more attractive games would count against as cost.... people just have to accept facts that not many people want to come and watch us anymore....end of. but the club need to actively persue encapturing the hearts n minds of kids upto under 25's,then we might have a chance. but until a new ground is there that will offer other things 24/7 as well as football there isnt much chance...

think tranmere have done this and notts county as well,and im pretty sure swindon did similar... under 12's free with adult....12-16 £3....16-18...£5..then your an adult.... biggest argument i hear from stayaways is...the cost.....the football on the pitch.....the state of the ground.....the lack of atmosphere....and the constant berrating of players...i know a good few lapsed fans and these are the gripes they have....there is nothing to tempt them back,why spend £20 on a game when you can watch a game for free in a pub and spend £20 getting leathered in the process...dont get piss wet through or chilled to the bone....

pay on the day in advance this season was £18....next season they have done away with the £2 early discount and now its £23....is that not a fiver???

i am all in favour of the club getting savvy with away fans...and not before time as well,but it cant be at the expense of home fans.....and im sad to say on appearance it would seem it is....no reason why home fans cant be charged the same on production of a slip or season ticket..... category pricing is in line with everyone else,apparently...yet pay on the day fans are going to be paying a fiver more per a class game than last season.... its all well and good doing these things but when it alienates an already less than enthusiastic public questions should be asked..

i have never parked on the official car park at latics at anytime..its just a rough piece of ground riddled with potholes from what i have seen.... by all means maximise income from away supporters,but at the expense of home fans???? i always park on b n q,3 hours free parking.....or just under the subway on the local streets....

i think its a financial blunder....i think its stupid making it midday midweek.....do they really think people can just nip out of work to get there in time... like has been said i think it should have covered the end of the month,thats when a lot of people get paid...but there ya go my season ticket moneys gone on car tax..car insurance and birthdays....so i shall be paying on the gate again this season...mind you i might just do the cheap games and do more away days as well... the club have released 7 or 8 players...the jurys out on the rest..and we havent yet signed any replacements....we dont know if the managers being offered a new deal,and we havent got a clue about our budget...do they really expect people to put blind faith ahead of everything...

happy to finish higher than this season,as it will show progress....ideally playoffs i would also like us to sing songs about oldham..and not anti city and united songs....i dont see the point,also no celtic or rangers songs..again pointless were latics... also if were going to sing the bastard song,can we please aim at the yorkshire folk..kinda loses its validity when you sing it to the likes of carlisle n hartlepool fans....or if you want to sing it against every other team,then please change the ending to fit...

thats the thing though...what constitutes a reasonable offer??? like has been said team captain,contracted till 2014...scores goal from midfield... considering what trottman went for then we are underselling him for that amount we know we are and always have been a selling club...its how we survived for so long...as long ago as wayne harrison to liverpool.....but we dont have to sell for the first reasonable offer to come along...we have never really got money we deserved for players,its about time we dug our heels in and insisted on proper decent amounts...

chris taylors value hasnt dropped because he has stayed loyal to us....his value dropped because towards the end of shez season he dropped off the pace,defenders had worked him out and doubled up on him making him ineffective...under penney he wasnt right,was carrying injuries and was made to play on when he shouldnt have been playing..his confidence went and his effectiveness went...first 3 months under dickov he was still finding his way back to proper fitness and wasnt played in his preffered position....look how he has finished this season,top scorer full of confidence and back to some sort of form when he first broke through... as for porter...no thanks...injury prone.....and hughes....although i think he could still do a job for us,its all the baggage that comes with it....

selling ourself short again... up until stephens left he was our leading scorer....if keiran lee hadnt won all the honours furman would have got them so 25ok for him is low...taylor finished the season as our top scorer..and 400k is also very low...believe it when i see it....lose 3 of our best players for under a million...bolloks....
