i cant stand the scraping of ice........... ie when you take summat from the freezer.. defrost your windscreen in the winter etc etc.......aaargh it's going through me now just thinking about it!!! i have to get the wife in to get me anything from the freezer, i'm ok with ice...it's just the scraping...aaaarrrggghh weird or what???

not many impressed eh??? neither am i !! the bloke has had opportunities that most of us would die for, and seems to dismiss them as much as a teenager going from one 'phase' to another.... yes he's scored one or two goals for us.... not got us promoted, just saved us a degree of embarrassment IMO... but i like others think that along the lines there is another that got 'let go' because the club thought that he was a better prospect.. i hope that lad has found something and hasn't had his dreams banished forever!!! at the end of the day he has stated 'personal reasons' as hid cause for retiring.... it may actually be something else than he thinks he's the next Wesley Snipes!! but seems a tad strange all the same......... broken leg causing damage that cant be sorted???? surely he then can claim compo?? IE (i think?? a PFA pension??) but the club are claiming those rights (the compo that is!) so dont think its an injury... so who's going to run the book on him being the first latics player to get a BAFTA????? stick me down for ................ NEVER!! good riddance, now spend his wages on someone WITH a heart for the game.....

that mirrors something my dad told me at least once or twice!!! the old fella used to work for the post office and 'tricky' did some sort of opening/guest appearance sort of thing.... anyway he turned up wearing different shoes!!!! a fantastic player and i wish we had someone similar... it was so good to see him at various testimonials still, albeit a tad slower, able to whip that cross in.... his current trademark seems to be his trilby... at a recent half time draw, Franny asked him where his hat was!! tricky replied that he had left it in his caravan..... after match, walking through car park..... motor home parked up with the players cars...complete with trilby on the dash board!!! my message to rick.... you helped put a town on the football map, and gave us some of the best football EVER seen at boundary park...... for that... i thank you!!!

well.................. that was a bizarre wake up to my day off!!! i have been reading the numerous posts on this and am a little bit 'stuck' on the fence somewhat! part of me thinks...and this is from a person that sees a continuous shocking amount of complete disregard to the traffic laws on a day to day basis... the fact that this guy did what he did is pretty much unforgivable, also due to the fact that there will be a family in the midlands that has had all their grief resurfaced because of all this.... sometimes i wish that the ground would swallow up these over paid footballers as they swan around doing there own thing .. how many park in disabled bays...speed...drink drive.... even if they do have the squits or have a few hundred camera men following them.... on the other hand i think that we need to remember that this continuous quest for 20+ strikers to catapult us into the higher leagues is a bit like the lottery..... you try your hardest, but its very unlikely its going to happen.... we are needing other avenues to find them as money talks and we dont have it!!!! now, the guy has been let out for whatever reason...... fair enough, he's done (some of) his time.... OK clean slate????? but how does he see us??? clean slate thank you very much OAFC .. i wont let you down... OR cheers easy.. sick of prison, get myself back in the shop window and wow look what Manchester has to offer now....bars, bars and more bars... like i say not too enamoured about the whole thing.....but the question is....how many more footballers, and i include ours in that ...have done things to a similar degree without the horrific consequences......or for that matter the fan that sits near you when you go to BP??? personally agree with most of that, well apart from the gregan bit...hence the post above........ i totally agree about pogs though.. no better than him! ok he's got his problems, but they seem to have been trained out of him before, so why not again! sort of hope they can tempt grant back........time will tell, as will the coffers! we have the makings of a good team in there somewhere, as our results and position has proven...

must of blinked when that happened..... we finished 6th in the league though, and over the last few weeks had more goals scored against us cause the back 4 were caught napping.... hardly awe inspiring is it??? not much to build on either.. not that i have answers either..........just stating that he's not what some people make him out to be...

can get rid of gregan for me too....... overweight and unfit........funny as that seemed to have happened since he signed on the dotted line... nah good enough player when facing the ball, but slow as flip when put on his heels... not to mention his .." it's your fault!" mentality

got my letter today too........ the thing i would like to know, and i do have a habit of not reading things correctly, is i cant see anywhere on the letter that states how many tickets you can have............. ie..the Mrs wants to come to wembley with another couple of tag alongs to swell the numbers... as nice as it would be to be sat in another part of the stadium to the wife.. it's not really ideal is it? they have obviously seen it as a money maker....... lowly league 1 clubs wont ever get here again so may as well fleece em whilst we have the opportunity... that said i will hopefully be hogging the phone at 6pm on saturday............ but why didn't they simply put the trust into another 'big' club that is local??? IE city!!! they must have tons of windows at the ticket office there?? be a lot easier, and wouldn't cost £7 for the privilege either....... oh well........... get sat'day lunchtime sorted first then see what it's all about...
