  2. can't you just add any ol tat onto that site??? maybe it's someone's clever idea of fun!!!
  3. didn't the site have a problem a few weeks ago with spam accounts/hackers.. obviously they have gone but people's numbers may have not.. i know i had a problem when it started i think i was within the first 20-30 people but now have a different number
  4. a few TD's went doing that!! maybe you know them?? do you not have to have the patience of a saint??? i have problems with the general public!!!!
  5. my mrs does a similar job to you bob.. well she is a supervisor but the job is the same!! me ??.......i drive one of these........
  6. I'll second that!! warne gets my vote.. I've never seen someone so committed to the cause week in, week out!
  7. i found this t'other day at for me it sums the day they all arrived home, very well... don't get me wrong, as ex RAF i'm glad they are back all safe and well.... and after a not so nice holiday too! but there were other happenings that day too, which for me the press seemed a tad not too bothered about... ps this was seen by the 'grown-ups' first and given the ok!!!!
  8. speaking of money!! it's just been on the news how some are thinking/going to sell their stories to the journo's... the girly has reportedly been offered a six figure amount for her story.. interesting eh?? my take on it...... BIG can of worms.........
  9. ahhhh ...bless!!! but it's still nice to know that people are still taking up on the magic that is Oldham Athletic!!!
  10. off topic slightly.. is that the lad from 'shameless' ???
  11. i'll second that!!! he opitimises everything we look for in a player..... most importantly the 'never say die' attitude he has!!!
  12. call that a bomb??? now these little babies are 'bombs'!!! ........ this is a bona fide 'bouncing bomb!' well bits of one with added bits to make it complete.. ...... this is a 'tallboy' and no doubt one or two of these went on their holibobs in germany during the 40's!! ...... and the bomb that give everyone within 50 miles a headache.. the 'grandslam'...
  13. you should of left your studies ackers!!! not a bad game on the whole... they were no push overs either, i though forbes did ok.. the booing seemed in jest at first but then appeared to be malicous as well as boring as the game went on!!!!!!! 'alfredo' at left back looked ok, and a pass he made in the 2nd half across field was excellent.. lombard came on for a few mins and looked decent too.. just got back to sunny sale and acording to the the wireless results went our way too, and we are now 4th??? nice decent day out in the end!! day off work also meant not having to direct cockney tram passengers the 'non bury' way to get to old trafford too.... time for tea and medals now.....
  14. not as good as the goat though........ but being ex RAF i would say that!!!!!!!!
  15. i think that we all assume that iran's forces are at the same state as iraq's!!! you have to bear in mind that iraq has been battered almost continously since jan 16th 1991..( i think thats when the GW1 air war kicked off!) iran is a different kettle of fish completely.. they apparently have some serious hardware that they have just got from the russians which would sort the ships lynx out in no time whatsoever as for special forces, well for what we all know they may/may not be already there.. but thats probably why they moved the 15 some interesting stuff on these two sites....... http://www.e-goat.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=4926 ........ http://www.e-goat.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=5073 and the navy one........ http://www.rumration.co.uk/cpgn2/index.php...mp;t=5275#90746 and even the army have got involved but are speedily closing their threads for security reasons... (ie scum journo's using them as info!!) http://www.arrse.co.uk/cpgn2/Forums/viewtopic/t=61924.html
  16. thats about it for me too!!! when i started in the glorious world of tram driving, they came out in droves to rip the pi$$ and generally perform in front of an audience.. well some one always laughs at the jokes!!! thats until you stand up to them and in front of said audience ask them if they 'go'... the answer is generally the same each time, can't afford it, don't get the time off... blah blah blah...... the thing is that one of the lads has this auto cup ticket thing that they do, so there is from time to time tickets up for grabs... 90% of the time these are taken by other fans as the opportunity to see champions league footy, or as a birthday treat for relatives (as in my case!!)... i even used to work with a fella who would book time off work to watch them on the TV.... now that is daft!!!! he must of used a fortnights holidays every year... I'd rather miss/tape it and go on a holiday somewhere.... generally speaking i don't mind the city fans i work with as most have season cards, but i know off only one driver (from about 30-40 who have so called allegiance to utd) that has a season ticket and attends regular.... i was with my old fella and his mate at old trafford when Carroll scooped that ball from out of the net... and we were above it and slightly to the right of it, so had a perfect view.... on the tram back into town a spurs fan was chatting to us three and a few united fans and was saying that they were well stitched up etc... everyone on the tram agreed apart from these two kn*bbers who then started to get a bit nasty as they were in the top tier of the 'big' stand and it was definately in, the cockney should f-off back to where he came from and the other fans were a disgrace to the red shirt... my dad and i then chipped in and said as neutrals that it was definatley a goal etc.. to which point they got very nasty and asked me what would i know as i had never seen a ball go past a united keeper... i had to agree with that comment as i had spent 10 yrs away in the RAF, but told these two that i once met a fella called Neil Adams who had seen one go well and truly past one of their invincible keepers... they didn't have a clue what i was on about..... like you say.. inbred flip wits with no passion for football, just some sort of god given expectation that everyone should crumble when in the presence of a red shirt.... someone has put something similar to this on jk.. where i have posted with my favourite game on match day... i never tell people in red shirts how to get to old trafford, I'd rather send them to bury market!!!!!!!!
  17. when will people ever learn.... never go early!!!!!!
  18. i had to watch that clip again................... i cant believe that c*ck nobber said that!!! I've said this before, but one day a player we are hoping to sign will turn round and publicly say " no way!! their fans are not worth the bother!!" someone must know this joker.... and we could do without him!!!!!
