  1. Hope so but carn't see it would he drop down to league one? maybe for just a month if no other Championship teams want him..
  2. Lets hope we get them early in the week to train with the team and not Friday afternoon
  3. Can we still take him until the end of the season with him still being on loan or should that have been sorted before deadline day? You can only take a player for a maximum of three months on a short term loan so i guess we have two months left if not..
  4. that keeper who was on loan at Yeovil he was outstanding against us at home the Pompy lad is he out on loan?
  5. Seb Hanes back from Derby then? went to them on loan in Jan
  6. Would have been a good shout but couldnt see him in the side before Windy or Hughes problem we have with bringing strikers in is that they will have to sit on the bench until the last 5 minutes as Hughes and Windy are first choice.. Parent clubs won't want players sat on the bench when they can be out playing.. Signing of the day in our league has to be Jimmy Smith from Chelsea to Leyton Orient. Proven at Championship level with QPR and Norwich
  7. upto a maximum of 3 months i believe all deals for season long loan deals had to be completed yesterday
  8. Blue Army What happened with the Kilkenny medical?
  9. hope the club have agreed a deal ie paperwork and a late finish most probable Latics hit deadends in transfer hunt.. Thought Gleeson would have signed with DJ. Kilkenny was always dodgy wages etc
  10. what a good decision Shez excellent news off our wage bill couldnt get a game poor when given a chance went to Bury played a game or two sat on bench went to Bradford came on as sub once or twice couldnt make bench for last two games... Good Luck...
  11. Manchester Evening News - 75k Brighton now signed that tart from Stockport with the short sleeves and gloves lol
  12. Latics hope to get Kilkenny Stuart Brennan February 02, 2009 LATICS are hoping to land Australian international Neil Kilkenny on loan to bolster their stop-start promotion push. Manager John Sheridan is hoping that the Leeds midfielder, who has already had two successful loan spells at Oldham, is not snapped up by Brighton ahead of the transfer deadline. Latics will today free up some of their wage bill by selling striker Craig Davies to Brighton for a deal believed to be worth £75,000, subject to a medical and the player agreeing terms. And Sheridan, who turned his anger on a section of the Boundary Park fans after the disappointing draw with Swindon, is aiming to bring in two loan players next week. Kilkenny is out of favour at Leeds, and is the subject of a bid by the Seagulls. If the Aussie plumps for a move to the south coast, Sheridan has a couple more irons in the fire. The manager has no money to spend despite the sale of last season's top scorer Davies - who had a fall-out with the manager earlier in the season. Angry and frustrated at the sound of boos ringing around the ground, and with his side sitting in a play-off position, Sheridan made the point that Oldham are one of the poorest clubs in League One. He confronted some frustrated fans at the final whistle, and afterwards lambasted the negative attitude of some. "We haven't been out of the top six all season, and have done that with a budget which is the fourth lowest in the division," said Sheridan. "No-one knows that, and I'm sick of it. Some fans need to give the players a bit of credit. "Booing like that is a disgrace. I was looking straight at people who were booing, and it's out of order. "To boo when our players have put in that kind of effort is a disgrace." Sheridan will brave the wrath of the fans again when Latics play host to Bristol Rovers tomorrow night. And he will have no reinforcements, as any loan deals cannot be done until a week after the transfer window closes.
  13. Thank You if the Mirror and 150k you paid for him is correct
  14. I'm going for no signings tomorrow unless we can move on O'Grady permenant and get shut of wolf, love to see Kilkenny back but its not going to happen.. Stick with what we have and maybe an emergency loan when Golbourne goes back.
  15. That Argus paper believe its as reliable as the Chron but they are at advanced talks with two players could one be Davies? Can't see Kilkenny going to Brighton I have a feeling he will be a Latics player come Monday 17:00.
  16. Todays Sun says League one ins and outs Latics want Kilkenny.. Easy to link us with him though not playing at Leeds has had a couple of loan spells with us. I would have him back today and in the side against Swindon only problem is Shez is likely to move Whittaker outwide dropping Smalley which we don't want.
  17. Erm neither a news site as not up on net yet or a reliable source knowing the Chron it was in person whilst viewing the paper in Asda
  18. Brighton want Davies and could make a move before Monday any move would be permanent.. Also Glenn Murray wants a move back to the North West not much chance of a swap deal as they want most of the 300k the paid for him..
  19. lol no chance, we can't afford KK and Rui well out of our wage bracket would be nice but not in a million years
