    i could be wrong but wasn't our first game after Kilkenny and Bertrand leaving either Leeds or Everton? and surely the loss of form was more to do with losing Gregan, Liddle, Davies etc etc to injury rather than losing 2 loan signings?

    Bit harsh, and i don't think there's really any regular coverage of women's football in the guardian. Its sport coverage on the whole's terrible, unless you're a greedy league/rugby union fan.

    We had a fair few near misses ourselves, not to mention a couple of penalty shouts in the second half (can't really complain about that,considering the penalty we got). wondered why hudson-odoi was brought off so early,thought he didn't look injured. The workmanship in Indonesian sweatshops isn't what it used to be, is it?

    Wasn't at the game so can't comment on how Jones played but if you've already been forced into making one change at the back it doesn't make sense to make another change just for the sake of it,especially if you're throwing the lad in at the deep end when he's never trained with us. Can't have done his confidence any good.

    First and last time i went to blackpool. Was a bit worrying, mainly cos their ground's so decrepit i thought people might rip the concrete off the terracing and chuck it at each other. Not sure Gordon's verdict on LW was the most tactful: "Serves 'em right. Should have given us more tickets." He's right but you shouldn't really say it on the official site...

    i feel sorry for O'Grady, he's not done much wrong since he joined but it just doesn't seem to be happening for him. Davies must be wondering what the hell he has to do to get in the team though.
