Just got back from Wembley, Hull's 3rd try was about 4 miles forward. Well ok, i'm using poetic licence but it was definitely further forward than the saints try that got disallowed for a forward pass. Referee was an embarrassment (don't even get me started on the debacle at the end of the match) but thankfully it didn't matter in the end. only downpoint of the day was getting back to St Helens,heading to my sister's local and finding it had been firebombed. i grew up in Liverpool in the 80s, i must be mental.... Actually it's not that unusual here for the oldest kid to support Liverpool, the middle kid to support Everton to spite the oldest and the youngest to support someone totally random to spite both of them. And we were in the Premiership when i started getting into football. We got relegated in my first season; maybe i should do the decent thing and get a season ticket for Tranmere cos i'm clearly a jinx.

Correct me if i'm wrong but didn't TTA make their money from property development? OK the housing market's in the crapper at the moment but that's not gonna last forever. (Unless of course everyone takes the advice of that 'think tank' report and moves to Surrey) It's gonna pick up sooner or later and surely our owners are pretty well placed to know when and how to sell the land? As for the capacity issues...our average gates were less than 7000 last time we were in the second division (or whatever they're calling it nowadays), and our first home game of the season was only around 5500 so i really can't see that being an issue any time soon.

Is that supposed to be a Hitler smiley? It looks like the really camp one out of Frankie Goes To Hollywood.... Was sat in the north stand,a couple of people were thrown out for standing,the stewarding was pretty heavy-handed. Probably one of the worst grounds i've been to in terms of leg room as well, not usually a problem for me cos i'm 5'1" but i was tripping over the seat in front of me every time i stood up.

This is typical of the total lack of professionalism that's kept us in the third division so long. Shez out.
