It dosent say what they were chanting, how long they were chanting, how many times they were told to stop, if they were told to stop in English or in the native language, or infact if they were even chanting .. as different people have different perseptions of chanting! Spoke to quite afew Dale fans recently, and they cant understand why Wiseman has been released, they thought he was a very tidy player indeed, as i did when ive seen him. Would definitely do a job here, add some decent competition/cover and wouldnt cost the earth.

Which is aload of rubbish really, how anybody could think that when were only just coming into June, with a new manager and a host of signings (hopefully) on the way! However, i do agree i think the competition is there for the taking if you go for it.

Carlisle have offered him a deal, and Hudds have a long running interest in him so would have competition. I see Rochdale have released Scott Wiseman, formerly of Darlo. Wouldnt mind him here. Can play Rb or Cb i think. Hes very pacey, decent in the air can offers a really good attacking threat (when at Rb). Quite afew Dale fans i know also rate him, and are abit bemused as to why he was released.

They will have been given a rough programme to follow for the summer, but that will have included afew beers and a holiday im sure! And Lags, what right exactly do you have to criticise the players for what they do (aslong as its not bringing the club into disripute, which as said there not) when there on holiday?

What, like missing a drugs test and being hit with an 8month ban? This thread has been diverted alittle in the past, people are mentioning players behaviour in the season etc, all rumours and nothing known for concrete. The thread was started purely about 3 lads being pictured with alcohol (shock horror!) on holiday, during the off-season. As Lags has mentioned above with Lamps, Rio etc these pictures could have been alot worse (if you dont know Rio and Lampard etc were involved in a sex video whilst on holiday in Cyprus!). Now, lets put everything into context ... the lads have gone away and had afew beers, theyve not gone out and been involved in any sort of trouble or scandal that will bring the club into disripute. Theyve simply gone away, had a good time and thats all ... by the looks of it behaved themselves! How somepeople have the nerve to criticise them for that is beyond me! I`m sure everyother player at the club, infact in any and every other club has gone on holiday and had afew beers, wether its with family or the lads! Lets not make something out of nothing for goodness sake. As said above, the board has hit a new low with this thread ... but its just the way this site is going tbh. The site itself is growing, but the content within it is going downhill .. ofcourse for any smart-arse who wants to disagree, thats in my opinion (and quite afew others to).

Is sending naked pics not really a whole different ball-game (literally!). My point is just simple .. i dont see what all the fuss is about when they are 3 lads who are on holiday and having a beer! If the said pictures were on a Friday night before the game, then ok id agree with some of the above comments! But its not now is it Are people not allowed a holiday? So what your saying is certain people in certain professions cant go on holiday and get drunk, and then cant put some pictures up (infact they themselves didnt actually put those photos up either!!) .. pictures which arent offensive or rude or anything along those lines? Get a grip, its not like there: 1) The first people to go abroad and discover alcohol 2) The first footballers to be pictured drinking beer .. What does it matter how theyve done this season, there allowed a break arent they?

I fail to see how there pictures being on facebook is them putting themselves in the limelight! Its facebook for christs sake ... everyone puts there pictures on, its not something exclusive that only those 3 have done! Also there profiles are private, again preventing putting themselves in "the limelight". Grow up, its 3 men unwinding and having a beer or more, on holiday ... like we all do

Absolutely agree mate, spot on! I fail to see how on earth this is anybodies business! People go out and drink and unwind. The pictures were taken when the players were in the off-season ... which means they had no games nor training and were indeed on HOLIDAY! Now im sure the club gave them a fitness programme to follow, however im also pretty sure they would be allowed to let there hair down with a drink or afew! I`m staggered this pathetic thread has reached 6 pages.
