  1. Medical diagnosis takes time. Maybe the doctors only suspect it as one of many possibilities. And the expert's on holiday until next year.
  2. Behave. The response from Shrewsbury is excellent. It's all about balance and they've nailed it. Hopefully they'll enforce it too, before somebody inserts drummer boy's head in said drum.
  3. Theyll take your cash on the turnstile. But you can save buying online today, I think.
  4. The BBC have put him on the #metoo list of potential offenders.
  5. Please can you bang your drum a little less often and a little more softly. And not at all when we're 4-1 down with five minutes left. Thank you. Ra pum pum pum.
  6. Giving them the incentive for them to do something is well worth them retaining their share of profits.
  7. The Evening News reports that we flogged our clause before Burnley signed him. From 2016 ... "fee following James Tarkowski’s move from Brentford to Burnley. Oldham placed a sell-on clause in the defender’s deal when he left SportsDirect.comPark to join Brentford two years ago, but were forced to sell the clause for a cut price several months ago to help with their financial issues." Assuming Brentford have a 20% sell on clause and our sold clause was also 20% we've pissed away somewhere in the region of 4% of a very big number if Burnley do sell.
  8. Late 1970s. Norman Hunter and Joe Royle. Peter Cormack and Ian Garland.
  9. Brentford have a sell on clause. The decision to cash ours in looked short sighted at the time. If he gets a big move that would have been a small percentage working back our way.
  10. Sky Sports just said something along the lines of "Bristol is the biggest city never to be represented in the top flight of English football". The really do think the game itself was invented in 1992.
  11. The usual reason. Without them in the competition, EFL income would be lower.
  12. I do think Johnson tried to create bullshit news to keep himself or the club in the limelight. The £450 bottle of wine. Playing Anton v Brendan at Anfield. Talking about his snow angels v Peterborough. Wellens, I'd like to think, is a bit less superficial than that side of things.
  13. When Johnson left hope and optimism went with him.
  14. It's about £70 return per person by plane. Less than half the price of the train. And a better idea than cramping up the legs of our esteemed squad on a crappy coach.
  15. Cross Country train services are messed up by industrial action. Stranded in Plymouth or Bristol on Saturday night!
  16. The irony of this is that if 50% is going to OEC then Corney gets none of that. It's the 50% that goes to the football club that currently gives Corney the potential to access the cash. There's a reasonable chance I'll support this, although with limited mobility I'm not certain at the moment.
  17. But what you wear behind closed doors is your business.
  18. I thought they did a job on us. Very quick to close us down. And they mixed it up physically too. The fact they played to nullify our strengths speaks volumes for what Wellens has done in recent weeks. But Doncaster did it quite well and I don't think it would have been an injustice if they had held on to the lead. Nice equaliser. Two players in the six yard box before it ended up in the net. I thought we might go on to win it, but credit to Doncaster they had the injury time pressure on us. McLaughlin got a lot of space when he came on. Better crossing might have got us maximum points. Kean Bryan had a magnificent game.
