  1. I'm probably in a minority who actually liked the World Cup deal. I mean, what sort of idiot would rather take a £20 reduction in the price, rather than pay the £20 and get a free season ticket if England (a top 5 FIFA ranked country) wins the World Cup. Even if England don't win the World Cup....the £20 for the chance of a free season ticket is worth it alone. I'm not going to be purchasing a season ticket next season. And I'd like to offer up a huge To the club for scrapping the World Cup deal.
  2. Fleming signed a 3 year contract at the start of last season, he's got another year left. But I don't think we'll see him back.
  3. Love England, I really want us to win the WC and beat the Germans in the process. But Oldham to survive is more important.
  4. http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/page/Blog/...2018364,00.html Seems to be bigging up Penney quite a bit..... I guess that's the question answered then, good luck next season Dave.
  5. Jill Dando's boyfriend wanted to re-paint their front door but she was dead against it.
  6. Double save against Tranmere away. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
  7. Harrison get's KO'd in 2 against Haye. And he gets battered and jab senseless before being laid out in the later rounds against either Klitschko. Anyway, I do want to see Fraudley win tomorrow, because I'd love to see him pummelled by the Klits or embarrassed by Haye. Haye might not beat the Klits but he's the only heavyweight in the world with a chance against them.
  8. I hate to see Wellens mentioned as attending our games, it makes me feel gutted....should have just give the guy his damn signing on fee. One of the club's biggest mistakes that....that signing on fee would have paid itself back. Anyone know how much he wanted? I'd say anything less than 200k would have been a bargain. You don't just let a midfielder like that walk out of your club, for nothing....and to a rival.
  9. Aw, shít, no kid should have to go through that, losing a parent is bad enough at that age, but to actually see them die in front of your eyes in such a tragic manner, and right before her birthday as well, as Ackey said, there are no words. My condolences go out to the family, especially the girl. I hope the killer is brought to justice.
  10. 14,561. Which is 11,000 more than Saturday...y'see, win at home increased our attendance by 300%. It's all about the winning, and now we've lost, I'd expect the attendance this Saturday to drop back down to the 3,500 mark.
  11. 100k for a season long loan of Neil Kilkenny if Leeds get promoted.
  12. My girlfriend and I went to a restaurant for dinner. It was a nice meal and we were ordering dessert. I asked the waiter how much the pie was. "£3.14 sir," he replied. "That's funny," I chuckled. "What's that sir?" He asked. "That Down's Syndrome boy just tried to hug a heater and burnt himself."
  13. Carroll's playing t'nite like. I doubt Taylor will play for them again but he's was immense for them for the first half of the season.
  14. Although you haven't mentioned one of their (if not their best) player(s) in Andy Carroll. And then there's Steven Taylor who's far too good for that league, and with Gutierrez you've got a guy who plays in Argentina's starting 11, as you say it would have been embarrassing for them to have not gone straight back up.
  15. Peterborough relegated. Gary Johnson set to be named manager tomorrow: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/ap...om-championship Go on then, let's fire Penney and get Gannon in....why not?
  16. My mates have always mocked me about the size of my penis. Although, I've never heard the wife moan.
  17. And the Trannies down to 10 men and 2-0 down. I think it's safe to say that result is in the bag.
  18. Considering Swindon are 2nd if they win it really makes our two points dropped against them early on in the season look like it could be costly.
