    From an interview (I think in the Daily Record, can't remember) Murray seemed to let slip that he has signed a contract with a new club for next season. The same article stated that Latics and Carlisle had both taken an interest in him.

    Scholes is still absolutely class, even at the top level of the game. If he were to come to Latics next season, which I don't think will happen, I think he could almost single-handedly get us promotion. Not to mention, an awful lot of season tickets sold.

    It's all a matter of opinion though. I'd say the others have shown they've got a bit about them pretty quickly and so, on the back of that, their chance in the first team is extended. Wolfy hasn't really done much, in my book, other than get pushed around by big defenders.

    So you stick unproven players in for ten games, in a side you want to achieve promotion with? I think he needs to show us a bit more before he deserves that sort of chance.

    4 in 36 appearances (admittedly most as sub).

    Not to mention the fact that we were treated to some fantastic passing football during the first half of last season. Unfortunately, Shez hasn't managed recreate that this time around - only he really knows whether that's by design, but I doubt it.

    The problem is, whether it would be anyway. If the people don't turn up, then the club would be slitting its own throat, financially.

    Is it all too little too late though? A few years ago, I thought Wolfy was destined for big things. Unfortunately though, when he's been presented with chances to impress over those past few years, he's consistently come up short. I think he'll be off at the end of the season.

    Would it be that rare? Seems to me that Stam always drops at least one clanger in each game and it's all about whether anything come of it.
