Definitely not a poor player. Him and Beckett were a great partnership for a while. For me, he wouldn't have been such a bad squad player for us this season.
Pic is pretty small but I can make out Palmer, top right.
Middle row (left-to-right): Donachie, Barlow, ???, ???, Liversedge, ???, ???, ???, Urmson
Front: Williams?, ???, ???, Royle, ???, Milligan, Hoolickin
And is the keeper to the left Keeley?
If you think mere existence is meaningless, you're a completely different kind of supporter to me. Isn't that about all supporting a club like Oldham is about - isn't it part of the culture and identity of supporting a team who'll probably never win anything? We've been around over a hundred years without winning any major honours.
Behave yourself, Simon!
With everyone fit, the centre-back spots are between Hazell, Gregan and Stam.
It won't take a fully-fit Gregan long to oust Stam.
I like Gregan a lot. I think he has a massive influence on the team around him. But nobody should walk straight back into the team (except maybe Hughes, because let's face it, who's going to keep him out, fit or not?)
For me though, Stam is always prone to mistakes. Don't get me wrong, on his day he's outstanding but, even when he's on his game, he's more than 'capable' of costing us a goal with a slip up.
And with Stam's injury record, it would be almost inevitable that Greegs would be offered the chance to win back his place.
