  1. Rick's a good shout. Frizz, Roger the Dodger and I bet Alan Hardy's would make for interesting reading!
  2. Much as I hate Sharp, he wanted to sign Hyypia by all accounts but wasn't able to due to restraints imposed by the men upstairs.
  3. Welcome to OWTB! Please contact a Mod or Admin if you need any help getting started (Click here). If you're feeling adventurous, head straight into the main board to chat about all things Latics (Click here). And if you're here for all the fantastic OWTB Shirts and Merchandise head over to the shop (Click here).
  4. Definitely not a poor player. Him and Beckett were a great partnership for a while. For me, he wouldn't have been such a bad squad player for us this season.
  5. Ah Goram, course it is. Couldn't make him out until you said it.
  6. Pic is pretty small but I can make out Palmer, top right. Middle row (left-to-right): Donachie, Barlow, ???, ???, Liversedge, ???, ???, ???, Urmson Front: Williams?, ???, ???, Royle, ???, Milligan, Hoolickin And is the keeper to the left Keeley?
  7. Keegan was the one I meant. I should have said left as you look at the picture; i.e. on Palmer's right.
  8. Clearly I didn't actually think it was Gary McDonald - he was probably a toddler at the time.
  9. Is it just me or is Gary McDonald sat to the immediate left of Roger the Dodger?
  10. BFL, The Matrix? That 'film' is the biggest pile of gash I've ever wasted a couple of hours watching.
  11. Having Hazell alongside him would certainly help to cover for Gregan's lack of pace though.
  12. If you think mere existence is meaningless, you're a completely different kind of supporter to me. Isn't that about all supporting a club like Oldham is about - isn't it part of the culture and identity of supporting a team who'll probably never win anything? We've been around over a hundred years without winning any major honours.
  13. Because it's not Latics-related?
  14. What it boils down to is priorities. The club's success or its existence? Success will always rank below existence for me.
  15. Behave yourself, Simon! With everyone fit, the centre-back spots are between Hazell, Gregan and Stam. It won't take a fully-fit Gregan long to oust Stam.
  16. Pretty sure that's right, oafc_ok. I would expect the club to sort something out earlier though and push it through on Friday, if possible.
  17. Same old. Fingers crossed for a loanee this week.
  18. I like Gregan a lot. I think he has a massive influence on the team around him. But nobody should walk straight back into the team (except maybe Hughes, because let's face it, who's going to keep him out, fit or not?) For me though, Stam is always prone to mistakes. Don't get me wrong, on his day he's outstanding but, even when he's on his game, he's more than 'capable' of costing us a goal with a slip up. And with Stam's injury record, it would be almost inevitable that Greegs would be offered the chance to win back his place.
  19. He has a young baby, you know. I've been up since before six this morning, myself.
