There was some discussion of Grovesy a couple of weeks back and many, including myself, will never have seen him play. I'm sure one of my uncles once told me that there was a game in which Grovesy beat a defender and then sat on the ball until he recovered and came back to try and win the ball. Anyone remember that?

Have you seen the penalty? The LW commentary said he'd put it the top corner and that the keeper had got his fingers to it. It only went in the top corner(ish) because the keeper pushed it there. Looked a bit like he toe-poked it to me. He was very lucky to score. I'm not complaining, mind; it went in and, as long as Lidds is on the pitch, Clarke won't take another.
