  1. Welcome to OWTB, Callum. Care to let us know a bit more about yourself? How Long Supporting the Tics? Best away match you've been to? All Time Greatest Player? Biggest Rivals (in your eyes)? Cheers, Steve
  2. I'm sure one said he was 24, and one of the guys behind him looked older, but kept very quiet.
  3. And none of them could remember the fantastic plastic. Most of them have probably never been to BP. Not as home fans, anyway.
  4. Singe, Onandi Lowe never played for Latics!
  5. See what you've done, Ackey?
  6. Colusso is indeed Argentine Lourenco - Portuguese Clyde Wijnhaard - Dutch Julian Baudet - French Calvin Zola - Congolese Lord Kangana Ndiwa - Swedish/Congolese Mickael Antoine-Curier - French Rodney Jack - St Vincent Jermaine Johnson - Jamaican David Miskelly - The land of fat, useless rubbish
  7. Of course. That'll teach me to skim-read before posting.
  8. Topic split whilst it's fresh news. I expected the first application to be for the Broadway Stand alone, but it's good to hear that it's for the entire project. This could, of course, be a long process, considering the locals they'll come up against, but good news all the same.
  9. Nah, Toyah's a better shout, just Lauper sprung to mind first. You're having Silvio though? The guy circled doesn't know what's coming.
  10. And the same to yours, Exile.
  11. I was thinking Cyndi Lauper, rather than Wilcox. And Steven Van Zandt's (Silvio from The Sopranos and E Street Band guitarist) there too!
  12. You forgot 'different class'.
  13. Really? Croft? Lazy? It really is all about opinions!
  14. As in, the warn level on his profile will be increased, smart Alec!
  15. Please don't post links of that nature on OWTB. As it's your first post, I'll simply remove it. In future, you'll receive a warning.
  16. Can you imagine to hold on to a player like Ritchie today, even if we were near the top of the Championship, or even bottom end of the Premiership? No chance.

OCZ memory can be a bit pricey but it's great. I got mine off the tekheads site, a fair while ago.
  18. People, feel free to mention your favourite memories of seeing him play too, not to mention his management in Ritchie's case. I remember too many goals to mention, scored by my childhood hero. The volley against Barnsley in the FA Cup (93/94?) was a bit special, as was his goal in the 7-0 drubbing of Scarborough (the game in which Frankie Bunn scored his record six goals, of course). My personal favourites though are his hattrick against Wolves on Boxing Day '94, when he was 34. And his performances in the Littlewood's Cup run; he was tremendous - a goal in each leg against Leeds, a great goal against Scarborough (mentioned above), the goals that rescued a draw at Southampton and then one in the replay and two in the 6-0 St Valentine's Day Massacre of West Ham, in the semi final. The final was the only round he didn't score in. Just to add, I have to mention Ritchie's signings of Eyresy and Shez, which were great at the time, but are huge when you look back now.

For components, ebuyer, dabs, misco and tekheads are worth a try.
  20. Welcome to OWTB, Holls. Hope you enjoy using the site.
  21. When Croft was in our team though, the opposition didn't have many other players to worry about. He was a cut above at this level. If he was offered, I snap him straight up.
  22. Welcome to OWTB, Andy. It's really not that complicated once you get used to it! If you do have any problems though, you can PM any admin or mod by clicking on their name in the left hand panel of any message and clicking on 'Send message'. Or you can post in the Techie forum. Feel free to do either. Hope you enjoy using the board.
