Didnt know about that side of him and if true i agree, wouldnt want somebody like that upsetting what we have here.

Think he could do a decent job for us. We had him the first half of last season on loan from Blackburn and he wasnt that good in defence minded team but he as scored 10 in 15 starts this season for motherwell and is know back at Blackburn, they are sorting out a new contract with him then look like they are wanting to send him back out on loan, preferably to a championship club but it might be worth trying.

I dont think he will be with us much longer, it says something when Dickov prefered to put Trotman upfront instead of bringing him on. H e must be our top earner and if we can get rid in Jan it will free up much needed funds for a decent striker which is what we need.

thought he was ok in the first half, he didnt really get anything wrong and let play flow like you should in a derby game but the second half he was awful. the sending off was never a sending, the challenge on evina was a clear free-kick, you even heard the player hit him and from where i was sat he gave us a couple of corners which looked liked clear goal kicks.

seen a st johns abulance guy up to butler just after he went off to tell him how he was and they was laughing and smiling about it then butler sent somebody down with some ice so dont think its too bad

I know, i was willing to go today but there is no chance im getting up so early tomorrow after what is going to be a heavy night tonight then not get to Hartlepool till just before kick-off. Dont understand why they didnt just do it today.

Going to watch the courteeners tonight so will prob spend most of the day in bed nursing an hangover instead of nursing one at the game. Would prefer to be at the game tho.

its the OS with the warped sense of humour. Ive just woke and checked it and seen the youth game is off but with an hangover and blury eyes thought it was the league game.

I think its more in the hope they can confirm its def on as early as possible, if its not 100% playable im sure they will have another inspection around 12/1pm.

Just a few quotes from the statement, Rochdale are optimistic that tomorrow's npower League One derby against Latics at Spotland will beat the freeze. "The situation at midday today (Friday) was that the Spotland Stadium pitch was playable. Both clubs have agreed to hold a precautionary pitch inspection by the match referee at 10am on Saturday To me it sounds quiet positive, they are optimistic it will go ahead. Last nights tempretures are the same as what is forecast for tonight and at midday today it was playable, so why wont it be tomorrow? The pitch inspection is just a precaution.

I might have missed something but wasnt there meant to be an annoucement today about how many tickets have been returned/lost and when they are to go on sale? Is it 9am tomorrow?

If a new ground ever does happen would it be possible to have some kind of heating system installed in one stand and charge an extra couple of pound for that stand through the winter? Doesn't have to make it really hot, just bearable. I would certainly pay extra for the comfort.

I'm also going to be moving to Devon in Jan/Feb, to a place called Ashburton. Its somewhere between Exeter and Plymouth. I share a season ticket with somebody at the minute and im planning on doing the same next season so will be travelling back up to games around once a month. Is there anybody who travels up from the southwest much who would like to split driving and fuel cost for some games? There will be me and sometimes the other half in the car so will have space for 3/4 others.

Has anybody got Alan Hardy's email address? I do balloons for promotions, weddings, ect and will willing to donate 500 blue balloons with printing on them to be distibuted around Oldham centre on the day of the opening.

So that would mean around 1800 season ticket holders not turning up for the game. I cant see that myself, thats prob 25% of there season ticket holders.

I do balloon decorations for weddings, christening, partys, ect. Id be more than happy to give a 10% discount on any orders over £50, to any trust member or season ticket holder as long as that 10% is donated to the trust. There must be plenty of plumbers, electricians or whoever who could offer something similer. We could have a directory page on here and the trust site with all the different services people could give to other latics fans and what percentage they would give to the trust.
