  1. Never seen a worse Oldham performance. We're making the Penney Latics look like Real Madrid. Embarrassed to be sat with the Stanley fans as an Oldham fan. Honestly, it's worse than you think. Woof.
  2. I live in Accrington, get yourselves into the Calder in the town centre. It's kind of a Weatherspoons but not. Loads of TVs showing Sky Sports and cheap pints. Usually play music too. 10 minutes walk from the ground. Woof.
  3. Amen brother. Those who claim they will not go to Failsworth make me want to puke my guts out. The very worst kind of spineless, cretinous, expectant 'supporter' there is. I hope they are all happy with their ESPN HD packages and empty lives should we move to Failsworth and they stick to their guns about not going. They're not Oldham fans. F*ck em. Woof.
  4. 1 medium black please, how do I go about buying etc? Or is this going into the club shop? Woof.
  5. Accrington. Looking forward to my local trip in a couple of weeks! Fully in support of Failsworth move. Woof.
  6. I would definitely buy one. Get it in the club shop. Woof.
  7. Fair dos. We'll call it 1-1 on the sarcasm front. Woof.
  8. Been to 3 of the 5 (Turf Moor on several occasions) and not felt even the tiniest bit threatened once. I suppose if you're of a nervous dispostion then most grounds can be scary. Woof.
  9. That's it! Why did no-one think of this before?! Just ask people to come! A Nobel Peace Prize surely awaits. Woof.
  10. It was high-brow sarcasm I know but try to keep up at the back. Woof.
  11. It must cut you up to learn that there are Oldham fans out there who aren't boring and pious. For every one of you, there is one of me and I'm not going anywhere pal. Woof.
  12. No offence to you fella but I find this sort of viewpoint infuriating. People who share your opinion are presumably quite happy to have a load of United fans donning shirts, acting as though in a library all over BP with Oldham fans holding doors open for them and thanking them profusely for being so magnanimous to take the step down to watch little old Latics. The thought of it just makes me...... This 'petty tribalism' that some of you talk of is the singular reason that I found match days so exhilarating as a child and still do today. Have I problem with United and City fans coming to watch Oldham? No. But if they do attend they must never and I do mean never do so in colours and they should be actively encouraged to be noisily in favour of the home team. We must never forget that this is football, if you want civilised behaviour and a dearth of tribalism, go and watch f*cking bowls. I am unashamedly tribal at games, my language can be 'wayward', I get p*ssed off, I get over excited, I would join in in any chant directed at someone who came in to my stand wearing a United or City shirt and for all of this I will never, never, ever apologise. Woof.
  13. RoyleArmy knows what the time is to the second without ever seeing a clock or watch. RoyleArmy's hips are made of bacon. RoyleArmy can always tell when it's rained. RoyleArmy wears chinos in summer. Even on cold days. RoyleArmy can hover. RoyleArmy can't see through glass. RoyleArmy usually appears to be startled. RoyleArmy has a drawer at home labelled 'documents'. RoyleArmy will only drink through a straw. RoyleArmy is suspicious of cubes. Woof.
  14. ..can anyone remember the score? I'm sure it was two nil to Rovers and we had a perfectly good goal disallowed. If someone could confirm these details I'd be most appreciative. Woof.
  15. Some very square responses on here. 'Ooh, no horrid fighting and certainly not any ghaaastly tattoos!' You all librarians or something? How much of a fan would you consider yourself? Extremely passionate but unfortunately living outside of Oldham and having various commitments I don't have a season ticket. Probably attend half of home games and a quarter of away games. Do you think there are certain things a Latics fan should never do? Wear the shirt of any other NW club. Not got a problem with hooliganism so long as it is away from the public and all participants are consenting. Personally I see the appeal in putting on your best clobber, meeting up with your mates, heading to some other town/city, getting pissed up and getting into a scrap with some rival lads. Frightening women, children and scarfers is for * though. Please note I have started that sentence: 'I see the appeal..', not 'I like to...' How do you react after a defeat? No matter how we play I'm devestated after a defeat. Whats the most important thing about the matchday experience the result or the day in general? The result massively influences the day but for me being part of a boisterous crowd having hammered the pub is just the best experience. If you were given £1,000,000 would you go and support your main rivals? I don't really understand this question. Give me all the money in the world; I'm an Oldham fan, that will never change. Do you have a Latics tattoo? Yes. OAFC across my upper back in Olde English lettering with 1895 above it. Considering another. Woof.
  16. Let's have it right; in our first year no team was as well represented as us, there was no-one there to fight even if one was so inclined. Blaming Burnley for our second year is ridiculous, any team turning up in our kind of numbers would have had an element looking for more than a nice game of football. Annoys me when people bury their head in the sand and blame other teams' fans for trouble. I was in Manchester during the day as well as the event itself and let me tell you Oldham's element weren't exactly shying away from any 'bovver'. They basically started it in the Arena itself as well. Woof.
  17. I love this, a Tramp making out (however subtlely) that they are something to be scared of . Tranmere fans are the most embarrassing fans I have ever encountered. I have friends and family who support Wrexham, Leeds, Burnley and Preston and all have said to me at some stage in the past that they are pathetic, track-suited kids. Enjoy Saturday fellas, the Tramps will give you no bother that isn't completely hilarious. Woof.
