Often in life people and even footballers have bigger questions than what make of boots shall i wear? A club chaplain from what I understand is someone that is around the club as a point of contact outside of the club for 1-1 chats etc away from the pressures on the shoulders of what are sometimes young men. Take the Andy Liddle situation when he lost his child. I reckon that whether he took up the option or not (we will never know as i imagine there is a confidentiality element to the role) having a neutral around the place would have been helpful for him to talk about things rather than sharing it with whoever he sits next to in the changing room. Now whatever your faith/religion is the reason I guess this chap has the role is that as a local vicar the football club will fall in his parish and he has a responsibility to serve them in the way they feel they need.

So I picked up on here that this is happening tonight is that true? I'm a Failsworth resident and know nothing about it so not sure how its been advertised! Just a thought but wouldn't it be a wise move for the club to check their database for failsworth fans and give them all a ring and let them know about it and ask them to attend. There can't be that many so would be worth it so people know whats going on incase they are unaware of the meeting....

Wouldn't say silent i'd gladly speak up for the plans in the public setting but I new nothing about the meeting and I could through a stone at the school where the meeting was. So not sure how they got word around cause I certainly didn't get detalis/ a flier through the door!

Tell you what I live in Failsworth and I can't see in any way how the Stadium won't be a good thing for the area! For years local residents have moaned about being ignored and a town that never gets anything and now the biggest regeneration project for years across Oldham can happen in their area and they moan.... Failsworth is full of moaners and i've attended many council meetings in this area due to work and I tell you you leave them feeling like you've had the life sucked out of you by a few people (one is named in the article and lives to moan) Alot of sad lonley people around here that do nothing but moan at everything......its a shame!

I thought he looked pretty trim on Saturday, seemed to have lost a bit!

Tell you what we never know as fans what people are going through when we're shouting for better performances etc and they've got more important things going on in there own lives....puts it all into perspective eh! RIP and big respect for the man and prayers for the family!

So to my suprise last night Stuart Giddings was playing for Hinkley United vs Curzon Ashton! He got subbed mid way through the 2nd half! I thought this lad did well when we had him on loan fron Coventry for us and would at least have been better then that level!

That explains it then.....your a bitter chaddy ender that is unable to admit that stand is now on its last legs in terms of atmosphere! Don't be afraid....let it go and join us in the RRE your always welcome!

So on latics world corney says that we have had 7 bids in on 4 players (or something like that) and for the right price we will be selling! So just wondering who you would sell out of the players we'd say are getting interest from else where? (this isn't me slagging players off just sat bored at work and got thinking about it) The player I would defo sell is............... Neil Eardly- defo ship out for the right price. Can't see why there is so much interest in him, i rate lomax at a similer level.
