Course he'll be actively looking to better himself. We are laegue one and every player in our squad would move up a level or 2 if the oppurtunity came around. In any job you aim for promotion etc and football is no different. The club wouldn't think twice of selling him at the right price as you said we are a selling club so why not play out of your skin to get a big money move and better yourself. As long as he's focused while he's here its fine as his value will increase.

Didn't he also oversee the buy back BP from the council that has allowed us to build and develop? If he did the above he's worth his place and prob not taking money out of the club as i think he has a property company as well. I may be wrong though. We added 4 players from the Baxter money so prob not...I am confident with the current team and mimms and Steele involved as well! Lets not forget Billy Q rocking the boat next to him on the bench now kicking off with opposition assistant managers!

I'm not saying he isn't good enough I am just saying The longer we keep him, the more games he plays so the more value will be added. No dought Fergie had smalling scouted for more than 8 games and he game via Fulham after non league so proved himself at that level!

A few million for a kid who has played class for 8 games this season????? Not getting anywhere near that yet but certainly the potential. Stay and play a full season as top dog and next summer bids will be much better than January's.
