  1. Takes a hell of a lot to openly admit all your shortcomings, the fact he's totally turned himself around, tells you alot about the man. A positive influence at the club, on and off the field.
  2. Most would have been thinking an instant return or atleast the play-offs but for some unknown reason, our league one players haven't been able to adapt to this 'roll your sleeves up' division, unfortunately M.K who followed us down have and that's where I actually saw us.
  3. Bad form and a throwaway comment that's already hit the bottom of the bin
  4. You never know, Roon might end up back here on loan as a Salford favour if they keep on losing like they are
  5. He might be far better under Scholes, we'll have to wait and see Won't we.
  6. Seems were going down hill fast but I think we'll see this lot off 2-1
  7. It might be now but it wasn't back then but I guess you could say the same of alot of places, surprised Peterborough hold that record. Aren't they supposed to be Posh?
  8. He's starting to look the part now and easily the most talented player at Oldham.
  9. Boo Hoo.........................Let's go back to playing outside, climbing trees and doing all the things that made you far healthier than this Fat society of moaners
  10. I thought the same regarding Bunn for what it's worth but you have to ask the question as to why no matter who's the manager, this band of merry men seem to turn it on and off when it suits. Something's a miss, possibly a tainted mindset of our recent past and it's already taking down scholesy's credibility and standing in some folks eyes. The guy has only just walked into a fire storm of epic proportions and will need plenty of time to dampen down the aspirations of those going against the grain. After 4 games he'll already know who's leaving the club.
  11. Being starved of coal the engine has ground to a halt because the upgrade to electric has been shelved for far too long, I'll email Hornby and see if they can help?
  12. In reply to that, most of us live in the past because they were better times than all this mamby pamby bollox of today, no community, no respect and folk trying to out do one another for envy, without the actual money to do it with. Yes the 1970s were tough but I'd go back to those times in a heartbeat and that includes the once very proud town of Oldham and it's football club
  13. Everyone from the past will still live in the past, you'll no doubts be doing the same yourself one day
  14. Better still go back to the 1970s badge, when we had a real club!
  15. The players will know inside they owe all of us a decent return after that shambles Tuesday, let's face it, there's no way they could be any worse.
  16. It had been mentioned and you'd need more than a magic wand to stop that guy What was the joke again? Lord Voldemort was it?
  17. He sees something that doesn't sit right with him and that's it, regardless of league position as Carlisle found out rather sharpish, although he hasn't quite mastered the art long enough to be mentioned in the same sentence as Big Sam
  18. If they hadn't just played three games in a row on it, I'd be in full agreement, I'll be more concerned if the players serve up the same when they're back on a decent surface.
  19. No matter how bloody good a manager you are, three games in a week on that pitch would sap the energy out of Brazil and Morecambe will be back on their Snooker table come Saturday.
  20. You was on the money and I got a little giddy because I hoped our fans torment might be starting to come to an end, I got it wrong. sometimes being positive means Jack shit in the grand scheme of things and it hurts me to say that.
