    Clarke has been a powerhouse and just shades it from Lang, George has come of age thanks to the captain and he'll easily move on to another level. Nepo is a great player and we need his skill and energy if we're to mount a challenge next season and God willing I'll be around to see it.

    Pete has been excellent and is fully deserving of the job but I'd guard against it if I were him, as he's already mentioned previous, he's a family man with responsibilities and by stepping in now and again doesn't carry the same consequences others have found. He always has a fall back position

    I'd say most of those comments aimed at scholes are fully warranted and he should have been man enough to admit his own failings in all of this, given his pedigree. Best thing scholes did for this club was leaving!

    Consistency over a season might cover it, their last two results were a 1-1 at home to yeovil who are going down and a blank at newport but they also struggled at home to port vale. We'll be above them in the table tomorrow evening.

    Tranmere and Colchester are far better sides than Swindon and were going into this game on the back of three wins, six goals scored and three clean sheets I can only see another win for us
