I see we have a couple of trialists in todays reserve team for Bury. Is this normal to have trialists during the season? maybe it is and ive never paid attention to the posts about the reserves.

Nail on the head for me. I think he has quality which is hindered slightly by his lack of match practice. I think he will be a level head for us over the coming weeks!

I feel that it's harsh to blame the players for not performing all the time. I think the support they were given against Liverpool showed that the performance might be more based upon support than some realise. Catch 22 though I guess

I do t go to every game anymore due to now working most sarturdays, but the one think I noticed when I moved from the lookers paddock to the main stand is that there is a lot more negativity over that side. I think that some people have got into a habit of not supporting the team but moaning at everything. Not sure how we break the habit, but what player is gonna want to play at Bp when it's quiet enough to hear all the negativity thrown at you?

Tonights game against bury was dreadful, at best, not helped by some very poor reffing. My frustrations are mostly related to the desire to feel the need to knock the ball long at every opportunity, missing out some key creative players. Too many time it ws hoofed long for players to run on to, or as was the case most times, to their keeper. Baxter is quality and too many times we could have played him in but opted for longer or more direct balls. We have quality in our team, and let ourselves down with long ball. Dickov should act to discipline player if they are not playing his tactics. Is he telling Byrne to smack it long everytime it comes near him? Is he telling Furman to play sideways balls all the time? Is he telling them to keep aiming for Simpsons head? Annoys me that we have the quality we do, and we play like that against a :censored:e Bury side, who simply has a better work ethic and what seemed to be more of a plan. Bored of it now.
