  1. From the radio commentary he made a difference when coming on and he was urging his teammates forward too, which is promising. Maybe the experienced loud presence we need.
  2. Enjoy.... going away is fantastic But wait for the right on police to accuse you of being a part timer
  3. Hereford for me it was dire....as memory serves It was 4 nill after 20 minutes, the streaker wearing walking boots running the length of the pitch was great Hang on I've remembered a 00 against Luton in the premier league that was worse cos I had to travel further on theh bleeding coach
  4. How can anyone say that a fellow fan is 'part of the problem' It's a :censored:ing game
  5. I loved it too, like this one I hardly ever posted but I read it all the time, remember waiting ages for It to refresh on the dial up connection, was it Jack and Kate weren't they based in ?bolton?
  6. Fair enough I'll take promotion, 4 th round of the FA cup and JPT final then!!
  7. My worries is that the better we do the earlier we will loose LJ ! 35 years of watching football has shown me that Everyone in football (other than the fans) are in it for themselves and themselves only
  8. Thanks for your report - I look forward to reading them much appreciated
  9. I am loving this thread. The club means so much to me, so many fabulous memories that signpost my life ..fantastic thank you
  10. This is an impossible task many many latics memories simple reduce me to tears Standing behind the goal at villa park when the goal went in that set the dream of staying up In motion Beckfords goal at the proper Bolton ground bloody wonderful Beating man city while sitting in their main stand at main road leaping out if my seat and hugging my dad we looked round and ....sat down! Perhaps the win against Southampton to stay up - I remember standing on my seat wobbling grabbing the poor girl next to me she fell I didn't!!!!! All of of these I was with my dad who has now died The goal at anfield last year when I was with my boys wishing my dad was with us!! I just cried
  11. Because we are tiny little club in division 3!! We care but not enough of the wider listening public give a monkeys!
  12. There are 2 of us coming from Birmingham, we've only seen Peterborough and Rotherham this season, both great days out but also defeats , so ..a win is in order please
  13. this is so right and and any one who disagrees is living in the past..its time to make some noise about this sort of @everydaysexism that we all accept without question. I was sat with my son on Saturday next to a women who had come to the match alone and I though at the time how embarrassed I was when the get your**** out chant started - made me feel uncomfortable I know I'll piss people off as a right on lefty but tough!! still love the footy!!!
  14. l. But a section of our support chanting 'get your t**s out for the boys' to a elegantly dressed 'Miss Posh' while she smiled and waved cheerfully in our direction was below the pale. Especially while at the same time 'Mr Posh' was throwing sweets to our young fans. Good humoured? Maybe. I suppose it depends how you would like someone you respect, like a mother, sister, wife or daughter to be treated in public. Totally agree the time for this sort of banter is in the past. Not acceptable
  15. That's what I thought seemed like a very jolly atmosphere no stress at all, everything good humoured - seems that stewards have to find something to do!
  16. I thought I saw a bloke being carried out by the stewards.... Am I mistaken ....
  17. Here here from me best couple of pints I've had in ages ....thanks
