  1. I know he's on the list, John Snape is currently befriending him
  2. Errrrrrr, it's called an opinion, I have my own in case you've never noticed before You ask Black's mum, I'm sure she'll be able to fill you in if you know her that well

  4. One thing you can be sure of, Black won't be here next season In fact, talking of mercenaries.........................

  6. Caaaaaalm down man, if you carry on posting like that, i'll have to block you
  7. Oooooo ahhhhhh Paul Mcgrath!!!! Last seen in Tesco with a trolley full of Guiness, said he was on his way to a celebratory liquid lunch with some old mates. I think he said someone called Norman and maybe Bryan or something, apparently he was moving back up here somewhere http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/footbal...ink-432720.html Don't you just love it when someone tells you half a story, my adrenalin would be on overdrive if I was holding the answer knowing that everyone else is just sat there distraught that the OP won't tell Now I do know something you'd all be interested in
  8. Excellent news, welcome to Oldham Warren, here's to a long run in the team and plenty of goals Has he signed on loan or is it a permanent move Errrr welcome back Jones
  9. It's ok Chrissy, I'm not that nasty man Ricketts
  10. I've caught a cold on here on more than one occasion
  11. Terrible news, not a legend in terms of his career at Oldham but the lad had an outstanding career in League 2. One of football's journeymen and someone who gave 100% each game, not blessed with all the attributes to make him a great footballer but none the less, a great pro. Tragically he was the last player to see Keith Alexander alive, they used to share a car to and from Lincoln whilst at Macclesfield, he was also a big player in that wonderful Lincoln side that Keith put together. He'd recently moved to Manchester having got married in July of this year. A real shock to all who knew him or knew of him, he was a real gentleman and his passing puts some of football's most recent events into perspective. I know he was studying at Manchester Uni on a physiotherapy course, sadly that's where it abrubtly ends. RIP Richard and sincere condolences to his family and friends.
  12. None whatsoever, other than common sense!! £200 per week is around £300 per week less than that paid at a decent Conference side!! How much is the minimum wage in this country?? To expect a proffesional footballer to exist on £200 (pre tax) per week is bollox, where's he gonna live and how the hell's he gonna pay his way?? Even as a basic, before playing fee, win bonus, goal bonus etc, it's still way, way below the lowest of salaries in pro football. You've gotta bear in mind that if you're not playing you're not earning. I'm not in the know one little bit, I just deal in common sense that's all!!!
  13. I think you'll find that's bollox Before you come back and state that's a fact, horses mouth etc..................that's bollox
  14. Irony is lost on some people Given your comments on Jones though, I'd have to disagree. He may have been playing 'out of position' but for me, he's been very poor, consistent but very poor
  15. ....that's Brill and Jones taken care of, who next
  16. Really!!! I thought they lacked pace, much easier to get power on the ball when it comes in at pace. Just an opinion like
  17. The contract offer has been there for a while and he isn't biting. I wouldn't believe all you read or hear about contracts having been offered or under negotiation
