  3. I get the feeling none of them will, and we'll be seeing Wycombe at BP next season
  4. Sunday People reports Gary Mac is going to Brighton at the end of the season after turning down a new contract here.
  5. Im Port Vale gaffer and, having just got promoted to the Championship and selling my keeper for £600,000..... They give me £45,000 to spend! I agree though, it's extremely addictive.
  6. On the wing, Deane can be very very good. Sometimes, he goes past players (experienced pro's) as if they aren't even there, but then other times, he falls over the ball and you wonder what he is playing at. I think next season, both he and Alessandra will be ten times better, because they will be that year older and wiser. Also, with the likes of Gregan and Liddell coming back, that can only help him as they will be on the pitch to offer advice and encourage. Im quietly confident about next season, but I wouldnt be surprised if Smalley and Alessandra only play about 20 games each, as Im sure Sheridan was hoping for this season, but, due to injuries had to play them (Deane in particular) a lot more than he would have liked. Most certainly worth a two year deal though.
  7. Best Latics Individual Performance In Years and Years Taylor caused them Problems. Frank Sinclair is useless Allott and Livermore tremendous Glad Crossley is back How did Kamara miss Beckett whats the score He's got no hair but we don't care. Im very very bored Should go to bed but can't be bothered I scored twice today All round smashing day.
  8. Sheridan's ten year stint at the club has given him the luxury of at the VERY least, one more season before I even think of criticising him. He has been so unfortunate this seaason, looking at the players we have lost. Gregan, Liddell, Hughes, Crossley. Four experienced pro's who, I have no doubt, would have driven us to the top three or four in the league. There is most certainly no way that Sheridan wanted to be playing Smalley for over 30 games this season, Im certain he wanted to break him into the squad gently, but injuries have made this nigh on impossible. That is just one example. All around the squad we have young players, who can only get better, even the likes of Taylor and Eardley, who have amassed roughly a ton of games each. Shezza will most definatly get it right, given the chance. I have seen signs this season that we are a very good side, but as is often the case with youngsters, it is in-consistent. We've played Leeds off the park at Elland Road, Carlisle at home, Forest away, not once been outclassed by Donny (even in the JPT game). P.S - Shez Out!!!
  9. Plus you didnt have my random comments to laugh at up there either!
  10. I remember Wellens was at Swansea away last season. Was dead impressed with that to be honest.
  11. Im more bothered you cost me two quid by not scoring 1st Jacko!!!!
  12. To be honest Oaksey, I think Stu's comment was tongue in cheek!
  13. We were bad last night, there is no getting away from that fact, but the level of abuse from the NSM upper last night was ridiculous. The abuse seemed reserved for just the two players, Chris Taylor and Neal Eardley. Whilst I cant argue that neither of them were very good last night, they did not deserve the level of abuse they got. Whenever we were attacking, one guy would pipe up "Get in the box Taylor you f*****g d**k." Mmm Constructive!!! And Eardley got a ridiculous amount of stick for putting the ball down the line, when, to be frank, he had no options what-so-ever in the midfield. Me and a few friends kept shouting up for them to keep quiet if they had nothing positive to say, but we got comments back like "Shut up you w****r". So to the NSM Upper, it's understandable no-one wants to sign for us when we have idiotic fans like you lot laying into them all game. Im aware this is only a few people, as I know a lot of people who sit in the Upper and always get behind the lads, but the abuse hurled at Taylor and Eardley was out of order last night. No doubt the same will follow on Saturday if we go one down.
  14. Correct youngen it was me that started the "tirade" at Warney. However, it was after i'd been stood for a good couple of minutes applauding one of the most recent Latics Legends. It was most certainly in jest and Im glad Warney saw it that way. He was without doubt my favourite player last season for his effort throughout every game. You always knew that he would put in a good shift when he was playing for us. Youngen, who are you?
  15. Me please. Titch please. Oakesy please Spock (one of mine and Titch's friend please) Sean maybe please (My mate) I reckon you will need about 5 coaches for this one JB!
  16. If we win, would love Boro away. I have seen them already this season at City, and they were the worst team ive seen. Walsall included. Im certain we would beat Boro either home or away.
  17. City sing one about Alfie Haaland and Kasper Schmiechel. Alfie Haaland (Or Schmiechel) Is a Blue Is A Blue Is A Blue Alfie Haaland Is A Blue, He Hates Munichs. So I suspect thats the one we should sing for Neal
