  1. TBH.... The club haven't responded yet with regards to my personal experience/personal email with regards to logging the incident I had with Kevin Birkett. Maybe there is an email backlog.... But I handed the letters personally into the club secretary's hands with a dialogue and advising them recorded delivery letters would follow...hey ho
  2. What me??? Pesky?......ohhh you know me so well...now mix in that I am a liar, decitful and shed crocodile tears when required.....what a horrible human being I am ...heheh
  3. You know I have just been on the clubs website under the customer charter bit. Still have SLO officer as Mark Lund...even though he is no longer is situ And it quotes old EFL requirement for 2016/17 season as 2 fan meetings and Trust would help run them (and we did) so the "we did not know" but is partly true as its out of date.....this season it is 3
  4. Dear all I am briefly logging back in tonight just to keep you folks updated. As of 18.30pm. The Trust have not had a response to the letter that was sent to the owner and club secretary by three different methods. We are all disappointed. We have already been advised by Supporters Direct to the what if we did/did not get a response and we are working on the no response now over the weekend. As soon as the next step is in place we will update you all. Thank you all for your continuing support and dialogue....its good to talk. Anyways, my new ink is on fire and my dog has decided to cut her pad so I am not amused....have you ever tried to bath a bloody dogs paw and prevent them eating their bandage off? any hints? its going to be a long night.... Thanks everyone and TBA
  5. That is the time we set. I have checked my email just now, nothing in and I am off to get some more ink done this AM. I will be monitoring the situation throughout the day. We have been advised by SD of what to do next with regards to the next step if the deadline passes without contact. We are sensing fans would like to arrange "something" for the match on the 22nd so we are considering this......we might need some ideas from fans on this.....So get your thinking caps on. More brains and all....
  6. Hello pk200 You can join the Trust online as it is administered by a system called Love Admin. I check it on a daily basis with regards to registrations, any failures, acknowledgement emails, card collections, payments and contacts/news articles. Is this what you mean? I have just noticed an incomplete registration that was attempted at 9.30am ish this morning. If this is you then I will be sending you an email in the next few minutes. If not, then just let me know how I can help Cheers Cheers Lookers.....
  7. Dear all. Apologies as I posted the below in the Trust pinned thread last night and forgot to add it to this one. It is dated yesterday 10/04/2019 Please find below the link to the Trust Oldham site with an update with regards to the letter to Mr Lemsagam https://trustoldham.co.uk/update-on-fans-letter-to-abdallah-lemsagam/ Thanks
  8. You are questioning decision making that was 15 years ago, on people who are no longer in situ. why and why again now? TBH, the money was raised for the fans for the club to remain alive, not gold otherwise yes not the shrewdist business decision at the time if profit was the goal but it was not. Lets face it the £200k investment is long depreciated now and long spent. I am sure we have even discussed a re-assessment of the value to a lower sum. If it makes you feel any better it is alledged the current owner bought OAFC for £1. Good luck with Andy tomorrow. He is far more decisive than me
  9. Our accounts are yearly audited and I would not say they are vast. Books are currently in and will be ready for the July AGM So you would be wary of the current Trust volunteer set up who have in their ranks: one co-optee's who is a MD at JP Morgan, another who is a retired university business school lecturer and chartered Accountant who worked at KPMG, a third who is a retired Director of various housing services throughout the Birmingham/West Midlands housing and ran their own Consultancy services. Four Trust directors who either run their own business or part of other businesses Wow What standard of volunteer were you expecting?......ye gods. Previous directors have been of a similar quality
  10. Dear all Please find below the link to the Trust Oldham site with an update with regards to the letter to Mr Lemsagam https://trustoldham.co.uk/update-on-fans-letter-to-abdallah-lemsagam/ Thanks
  11. Posted at the same time you typed the above. edited: 10/04/19 as I am crap with cut/copy/pasting from a mobile. https://trustoldham.co.uk/re-appointments-at-trust-oldham/ Trust Rep to the board appointed on Monday and club notified emailed late yesterday. The club will then go through the legal process of Fit and proper,Directors liability insurance being sought by Trust. Once Trust rep accepted, club have to notify EFL Timescales and action: Were agreed by the fans who attended the meeting and it was agreed to attempt a dialogue with the owner. The stand up for latics was the previous week before the fans meeting. The fans who attended the meeting decided to attempt dialogue with agreed timescales Supporters Direct: Are the outside support we have lacked under the previous regime and they have experience with legal knowledge we can tap into.
  12. Dear all Please find below link to Trust director changes as of 09/04/2019 https://trustoldham.co.uk/re-appointments-at-trust-oldham/ Thanks
  13. Moved without advising the Trust by the way. I was very keen to see if the debt had been dented at all and if the Necarcu loan/debenture had been paid off as per the sale to Abdallah. Guess we will have to wait a little bit longer
  14. We get that Jorvik. We have to make sure we have "ticked all the boxes" so there is no come back to some extent, or that we have exhausted all possible avenues with the owner so we can justify the next step. Andy B has taken up the mantle of having those steps in place and the on going dialogue with Supporters Direct. As an organisation they have experience of owner/Trust/fan relationships and the ear of the EFL....you know this as you were instrumental in our membership with them, so I am feeling that I am teaching you to suck eggs and all....sorry my friend. Logistic wise of a the next fan meeting, its Easter next week/week after so Kids are off and fans might be away or even away at Cheltenham for the Friday 19th match so returning Sat for a meeting (if we could get a venue) might be a push and then to organise for Monday 22nd April. Would there still be an appetite for arranging something Easter weekend meeting/action? I know myself I will be away for two weeks so it could impact the numbers. Thats my view, slightly negative and all but its timing. Maximum effect or damp squib? We have to factor in the team are winning with a slim chance of promotion, so fan appetite is my concern..l know I am a natural worrier but there are those that do and those that are all hot air and no trousers. Minimum, the Trust will continue to fight for its board level entitlement for the Rep to the board and I hope and pray, with the weight of the Trust members who have joined and fans in general behind it.....strength in numbers (by the way I need to get your Trust membership card to you at some point). Personally, lets see if there is any movement by the deadline of 5pm Friday 12th April. I hope there is. Ball is in Mr Lemsagam's court
  15. Under Corney we were very much alone. In no -mans land between doing whats best for the club and what we should let out in the public domain, especially social media responsible as there are people that work at the club. Now we are members of Supporters Direct who have been involved in many clubs with regards to amicable owners and those that are not. They have the ear of the EFL and also legal advice we can access with regards to the fans entitlement. I am hoping we will not have to go down this route and the owner re-engages with the Trust soon.
  16. Regardless of the mood of the fans good or bad, the Trust have to push for its entitlement. We are here to try our best to ensure the club is being run in a fit and proper manner. We are a partner, with equal partity voting at board level the Trust rep should be consulted about the health of the business and its staff. There has no board or board meetings, or even any sort of updates for quite a while now. Minimum, as fans you should have piece of mind that the fan on the board is overseeing the business that is OAFC and we are in a better place. We are unable to do this currently.
  17. There is a ladies team. If my memory serves right its come back under the club. Midnite who used to post on here helps out with it
  18. Dear all The Trust have been contacted this week by the group who did the Hillsborough walk a couple of seasons ago. When the trust worked with the club to open up the RRE on a December evening and I put the Chaddy suit on. The Liverpool fans we met that night made friendships that lasted beyond us whooping their arses in the FA cup...hahah Since then, the group have morphed into doing charity work, visiting footy grounds along the way and they will be visiting BP on Good Friday evening as they go onto Manchester City in a few weeks time. I have referred the walkers onto the club so I hope we can do something. In the meantime. Please find below the charities and route they are planning to do. if you see them along the way give them some support https://www.facebook.com/groups/2238519616469665/
  19. You can lead a horse to water.... We have gone down the formal route, SD have advised us to maintain the timescales and our next steps beyond the deadlines. Yes its alllllllllll your fault..heheh
  20. I put my phone on flight mode when I go to bed because it can ping off at all hours. //hahah
  21. Personally, I think we have done enough within 7 days from the meeting to delivery of the letter ( at least by email and by hand at that time). I suppose we could have stuck a copy in his hand at Saturdays game if we were allowed past the personal security, however the Directors rallied around me instead after my run in with said fan. However if you have time tomorrow, why don't you contact the club and ask for Mr Lemagam yourself to see if he will tell you? The door is apparently open and the questions came from the fans.
  22. Agreed. It was a Trust person who frequents the club in other capacities and helps out. Hence why club/owner have his number to call him. Owner knows of him, knows he is Trust. I believe the tweet was to quell the rumour that the owner was not around/had walked. It was poorly worded, apologies for confusion. I will kick Darren under the table next week
  23. Yep sorry. Travelling in s car. Less haste and all. No acknowledgment of emails. Hand delivered letters. Both personally put in the hands of the club secretary by me with verbal confirnation that it is a copy from the emails i had sent the day before and 2 letters would be delivered by registered post as well. With my suggestion that contacting the trust by the timescales quoted would be on everyones best interests We have sought guidance from supporters direct who suggested we give the club/owner time with regards to timescales in the letter Re contact with trust since last week. I will clarify but i don't think so
