  1. However, we were sensitive to that, Wise is not wrong to raise it
  2. Hello Wise Yes early on we realised that the Owner had come from a totally different world/culture and hence we decided to gave him time to adjust to it all We hoped he might have advisors in place to help him negotiate the pitfalls of running a business and culture acceptance and we became aware that respect would play a big part in the relationship moving forward. Thanks
  3. I am nervous about tomorrow's match But i will take the 3 points please
  4. TBH. We can't respond as he has cut us all out of the group he allowed us in. Right to reply I suppose. I have no idea if they are personal views of Director spoke/typed in a friend to friend response to Kevin. Until we are allowed to understand what the evidence is then we can review it and respond At the end of the day, We are all fans and our concern is the club and people who work there. This should be the focus in my mind
  5. It is worrying me. Previously he has said to me he is not a well man and he is on medication and I have always been sympathetic. I really hope it does not make him unwell
  6. come sit on the naughty step with me.....it's about the length of a run on the RRE by now. Cross on over..all is welcome..... Sad really
  7. We have a vice chair who will take the lead up to the next Trust meeting in April. So we all know who is charge now if you know what I mean and who the owner can contact if a Board meeting is called at OAFC or they want to contact the Trust in general. With regards to the constitution, it does say that the Rep to the board of OAFC had to serve as a Trust Director beforehand of minimum of three years. There are four of us currently that applies to and will discuss at April meeting if anyone who is interested. However, there are some new co-optees that have joined in December time that may have better skills at board level. So we may have a discussion concerning those that it may be better suited for Brexit....ye gods don't get me started..hahah
  8. I saw him just after half time front row but I did look to see where he was towards the end so I could judge Not bumping into him on the carpark. Interesting. Edit: apologies just seen the date on the removal it was 2017. I thought it was yesterday...oh dear
  9. True however that particular gentleman can be quite clever. When he wants to be rationale he post under his first name and surname When he was to post things that are potentially slanderous/inflamatory he posts under first name and surname of Chuckle
  10. i said resemblance although sometimes I do wonder about the brain function of him from the neck up...hahah
  11. ohhh Trust me....That won't happen, being ex Army from an Irish regiment who recruited in areas like merseyside and cheshire. His Para mates are sweeties too. Funny that we are playing Tranmere at home on Tuesday...hmmmmm Hubby has a passing resemblance to Ralph Moat as well. I have always learner never give a reaction if one is provoking you. I just felt so sorry for the fan I was giving his membership card too. I will log it with the club Cheers
  12. like celebrity death match style? Arm wrestle? I am not mud wrestling....no no. noooooooo Like I said, I thought we were okay and amicable up to Thursday afternoon and I still don't know what the question is and he never stated one yesterday. When he is focussed on something all reasoning goes out of the window with him. IMO I believe he has barred Wayne Hurst yesterday as he posted something about his managerial style. Wayne puts the Chaddy the owl costume on. There are quite a few of us on the naughty step.
  13. The Trust are not anti-owner. We have an entitlement to know at board level that the business that is OAFC (the club) is being run in a fit manner. The books, the plan, future finances, a board in place to help with all that and key personnel in place to help run it when the owner is away (CEO) The frustration is, is the lack of meaningful dialogue around that as we are 14 months into his tenure. We are his partner, equal parity voting at board level he is big on respect, we don't seem to be getting it. The annoying 3% shares the fans have. We absorbed a lot under the Corney tenure and protected to some degree the club from a bad social media fallout. There are people who work there at the end of the day. Corney was good at keeping most of the fans onside. We want to work with the owner, understand what potential hurdles the club have or up and coming and help if we can. We fans are his customers and unless I totally have it wrong, the majority are not happy and want to "protest" in different ways that could affect the club. He needs to engage/persuade the fans that he is the right custodian of our club, which he could have done much sooner if he had engaged with the Trust as well. We even suggested over summer last year/early season that we hold meet the owner events, small setting at the Milan bar Morrocan themed nights. Small ,so he did not feel overpowered but he was away at the World cup and the timing was not right. We have tried and the door remain's open
  14. Your right If I don't report it as a fan first then I am accepting this behaviour and TBH I would not like to see any other person be confronted in that manner either I would have stepped in myself if I did. So yes I will log it with the club.
  15. cheers everyone. least the football did not ruin our weekends eh
  16. Cheers. I took the police officers numbers who intervened and I did speak to a couple of stewards for advice and one did log it in a book as well. I don;t want to see a fellow fan banned as we need all we can get.
  17. oh god I don't think I could cope with a Birkett exposure this time of night....well not in person.(shiver) I genuinely have no idea what he is going on about nor have I had the opportunity to address what ever it is as I/or the Trust have done.
  18. heheh....I meant as in a friendly handshake around the neck. its never too early ooer missus....I am a lady you know
  19. Apologies for delayed. We have advised two people at the club. Owner Mr Lemsagam and club secretary Mark Sheridan both have have received or will receive the following: Emails sent to both on Thursday by me on behalf of the Trust Two hand delivered to the club on Friday by me on behalf of the Trust and I advised them at the same time that Two had been sent recorded delivery on the Friday as well Cheers
