  1. Not too sure if I am right on this one...but... Aren't there some fans/players ashes scattered on the hollowed ground of BP???...I seem to remember this being done in the 80's/90's and if so... Do they have "rights" somehow or have to some religious ceremony removal thingy before the construction crews descend? Then again I could have dreamt it????... Please let me know Thanks
  2. Oh I'll get there work permitting...using my womanly charms though...could lose us more latics fans....lol... 3 miles further down the road on foot is a 45 min walk...24 bus roughly a 30 min journey...it's not going to be pretty but I'll get there..although I would prefer a stadium with roof, and sheltered from the Old elements...not too much to ask me thinks. The development is a must, the location is great....we need this to survive ladies and gentleman.... We just need a good transport infra-structure to cope, Bloody hell - I have a bicycle I can pedal there!!! (bike parking permitting).. Although, not advisable to drink and bike...hmm..may have to re-think that one..hic....
  3. wow... memories eh...love it... But yes we have to move upwards and forward..... AWWWWWW
  4. then why don't you give us all a lift then??????...its only an extra "3miles" on your route you have quoted........Some of us don't drive so the extra 3 miles down broadway is going to be a pain in the arse...and yes it will be a "commitment" to do it on a cold winters night in the rain as we will already be denched before we get there, especially if the stadium is going to be set back off the main road where the current Lancaster club house is. its a good job i aleady own waterpoofs and walk 6 miles a day to and from work already as transport is crap and always over-crowded and over priced. So "yes" after a bloody hard days work I would have to consider on a wet winters night if seeing an "obscure London club" is gonna be worth the risk of hyper-bloody therma. Good transport links need to be sorted at the same time as the build....when is the metro link going to arrive?, better bus services all round and trains would be helpful too (although I think the plan is the railway to Oldham will end once the metolink is in place). Oh yes indeedie...I am having a giggle right now about it...somone pick me off the floor.....tut...never pull apart another latics fans commitment - its so wrong...
  5. PMSL at number 3 name....can I vote on that one too...nice one Martin...lol
  6. I walk to BP for sat and evening games....going to Failsworth is a bus trip and that's fine, however I don't fancy it on a winter's eve mid week game waiting for a chuffing bus...I am a lady you know...so, it's true I might miss more evening games than I'd hoped for. However, I support the move 100%, BP is not up to scratch even for the division we are in - we all know that and although the old heart strings are screaming for us to stay at BP...logically - if we don't move on, the only way we are going is down...down because of the lack of facilities and the team too. latics is a business that ain't making a profit -would you carry chucking money down the old plug hole if you were the owners???? I Can't wait....now were's my hardhat and steel toe capped boots...am ready to build..bring it on......
  7. tremendous effort and got the record with 5mins to spare... Just imagine what time would it have been if Beardy had not stop for the "gay Shake"...lol Well done The challenge to other supports is on....C'mon....

  12. Great new away kit love it, "ball and chain" has bought one and it was fab to see many children and adults with them on at hyde too but.... "keep the faith" logo Stiched on the inside of the shirt so only your backside can see it...hmmmm is it right? If it is right and not a clanger.... do you think the log should be on the inside or the outside? Are you an "inny" or an "outty" Comments?
  13. trying to presuade the "ball and chain" that it should be the masters.....trying to sell it as his "pre-stag do"...do you think I have a chance latics fanatics????.....saw Mike Flynn ant the Hyde game last night and he's confirmed he's playing. He still looks in shape too.. Bring it on...we will rock.....
  14. Oh crap..its unlucky to pur shoes on a table..thats it our season is Fubar before we start.....tut..lol
  15. it must have been my charm, witt, sophistication...and oh yes - my girlie giggle that he decided to pull on that latics blue shirt again.lol......if only... Now I just need to persuaded Paul that we should go again this year...loved it last year...
  16. bet he's still got great legs....lol...oh dear did I say that out aloud... what a sexist comment I have made for a lady.... Shame Earl's not playing too....my teenage fantasies will have come around again....lol... ermmm..back on track - I have a feeling we will do well again...
  17. TBA for me, think it clashes with either Blackpool or Sunderland at home that day..Doh!
  18. what worries me more with this thead is that there are a lot of males interested in Beardy's backside????.... there are some scary latics fans out there.... I wish to log that I have no interested in Beardy's backside with or without £80 million.... Now Steve Gerrad's arse....hmmmmmmmm...I could be persuaded to grope being female and all... Ronaldo?????? I have standards you know...lol
  19. excellent...bought tickets for the ball and chains birthday last year as he was a red then....must admit - bad show by Man utd, but hey I was in my element and back in my youth watching the likes of millie, ritchie, wright etc...even good to see Andy Rhodes an Paul warhurst (even though they were in opposition colours)... Atmosphere excellent we chanted the place down - even in the quad beforehand near M&S..... fab...wanna go again....are we nearly there yet???? Bring it on!!!!!
  20. Had the same problems buying it on line the other week, same as you went down to the ticket office at BP on Sat am to be told the same - you can't pay by Debit/credit card. Apparently it has been the same since the club almost went into admin...but strange that you can pay for away games tickets by card..hmm....so, like you snook off work earlier and paid by cash, but what a performance....its not exactly "user friendly" to get the ST
  21. got ours today after a traumatic weekend of NOT being able to purchase it online (damn ticketmaster.....). Went to the ticket office at 4.50pm.....what a que....NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......but did save the £6.00 booking fee if we had bought online and if we had decided on postage too - it would have been another £6.00 on top too. So £12.00 saving......hmm.....that will be allocated to the drinking fund for the grey mare first game of the season... Well got to get my priorities right eh...... P.s ask the lady in the ticket office if we had sold many season tickets..she indicated it had not been a geat reponse to the 4,000+ offer...so what are you waiting for?????.....a rush???...best book with Rocky for the use of his deck chair....lol
