  1. Cassidy made a nuisance of himself when he came on. Genuinely couldn't pick a single player out from last night's non-performance. When you leave a game talking about Holloway's control of the ball at the end as the highlight it shows what we've become. Mediocre rubbish and thoroughly depressing.

  3. You obviously wern't at Gillingham then. This blind defending of Sheridan at all costs is ignoring the evidence of your own eyes. He's playing full backs as wingers which is laughable and totally ineffective, the two forwards he's brought in haven't found the net once between them, Kelly shouldn't be in the team and as for Coleman...disaster waiting to happen every game. Aside from the fact he's incapable of dealing with balls into the box, his distribution is shocking, as it has been all season and the worrying thing is it hasn't improved one iota since August which makes me doubt if it ever will. A dodgy keeper and strikers who can't score is only going to end one way..
  4. I think Coleman is poor. He may develop into a decent keeper but he's far from that right now. Well over 50% of his kicks fail to find an Oldham player and usually end up in touch which puts us on the back foot time after time. The reason Dunn played Cornell I think was to take Coleman out of the firing line cos his mistakes plus the fact our defence was :censored:e must have been destroying his confidence. Neither Dunn nor Sheridan can be blamed as they both inherited the keepers, unfortunately Cornell is shockingly bad so we've no option but to stick with Coleman. He's going to cost us points though probably less than Cornell would. Ridiculous situation to be in and whoever signed Cornell wants shooting.
  5. I was going to say I can't believe the :censored: directed at Murphy on here but sadly I can. Reminiscent of the garbage written about Rooney when he was here. He's the best striker at the club by a mile, if we play to his strengths he just might score the goals to keep us up
  6. Yea but we're at home Saturday and the onus will be on us to take the game to them, not that it's worked all season mind. I just think we'll need to score more than one that's all.
  7. 9 in their last 6 games away from home, which is the relevant stat as far as the Gillingham game is concerned.
  8. Seeing as they've averaged 2 goals a game in their last 6 away matches I'm thinking they may well score on Saturday.
  9. Agree with all that, he was my favourite player by a mile, I didn't get excited when we signed him though cos I'd never heard of him before!
  10. We don't have a single natural wide man apart from Croft and he's fatter than me.
  11. Which we've failed to do in four out of our last five. We'll need to score more than one on Saturday to win as well.
  12. I find your comments a tad ironic considering what the guy in your avi is alleged to have done.
  13. It is when we're 5 points from safety and we can't score. Nil nil draws aren't going to keep us up.
  14. Holloway isn't gonna score the goals we need to keep us up. He found his level in Wycombe's reserves. Ridiculous signing. Going for the cheapest possible option is going to do for us in the end
  15. It's speculation but based on the fact that he wasn't either of the players mentioned by Sheridan before the deadline passed cos they both turned us down.
  16. Ian Robins was the butt of fans wrath back in the day like someone posted earlier, I remember him mostly coming on as sub to a chorus of boos and 'Oh my god's' Met him at the 25 year reunion for the Third Division Championship at the old Belgrade Hotel in 99. Top fella, as were all the team, he had a Tom Selleck like moustache which Andy Lochead enjoyed pointing out to him after a few beers.
  17. I'm not happy that we're signing players who can't get into a mid table League 2 team Wozzer. It's barrell scraping. Hold my hands up about Henderson though.
  18. Sorry Pete but I find it hard to be positive about signing a lad who can't get into Wycombe Wanderers', for gawd's sake, team cos his attitude and/or his performances are questionable. He wasn't even on Sheridan's radar up to his first choice targets falling through before the transfer deadline. It smacks of desperation though if he scores the winner tomorrow I'll revise my opinion.
