  1. Then was up cheering after a good passing move resulted in a goal. The sort of passing he berates at every opportunity. Idiot.
  2. That was in Four Four Two or WSC a while back. Sure of it.
  3. True that. Hardy has been in serious Terminator mode.
  4. Go and play for Scunny and be back in League One next season. Mainly because they're crying about having to put seats in if they stay up. Career move. Not. If we took a bid of 250k, I am sure there'd be further interest a little better than them.
  5. Are they ever anything else? Good three points, well done Latics.
  6. Don't need much of the ball when you can one touch pass it to the 18 yard line a few times! We had more kicks because it took us 3 to control the bloody thing most times. Still 2 seasons back we lost 5-0 away at Hereford in January. 6-0 to Southampton is progress, right?
  7. His target was 52 and "take it from there". We got 52 with him. I suppose for him that was mission complete. The not kicking on bit must have been his downfall. Tosser.
  8. So a couple of assists, a penalty won, another cross that led to one. So he's had a hand in quite a few goals we've scored lately. Fine by me.
  9. Once he gets back to realising that a 5 yard ball is often a better option than a 40 yard ping, he'll be fine again. Must be those Gerrard genes in him. Played a great pass yesterday to set a chance up. Some plank praised Furman for it. Can't even get praise when it is warranted from some!
  10. Fits in perfectly with the other signings we've made. Or not. Next...
  11. He'll be here for the rest of the season. He won't get a new contract. Then he is gone.
  12. Looks like it might take Jean a couple of games to get back into his stride. 4th goal came as a result of us chasing the game but sod it, rather do that and have a go - it's what people were crying out for last season. Shame we couldn't convert another chance late on to really have a go at them in the 6 minutes added time. Taking the lead I thought we could get something from the game. Again conceding close to the end of a half cost us. We'll get there though, plenty of games to look forward to.
  13. As they're bottom of the league and 5 points from safety, I don't think these lads have made too much of an impression have they. I expect PNE were all too aware that if they sacked him, Daddy would come to collect his players.
  14. Can't be him, that bloke made the third round of the Fantasy Cup.
  15. Notts County at home. 3 goals. What a treat after the turd served up last season. Daggers was a trek but well worth it. Got there somehow.
  16. Certainly did, top man he is. Shame about the O'Donnell decision the fight after. Anyway back on topic, good we can call on favours like this. Big Jean has to be team tough guy. In the Dowie days Chris Armstrong was decent alongside Andrews at throwing the punches apparently.
  17. Our game plan means everyone has to work all of the time. When you make changes and they do not work to the same level, bad things will happen.
  18. Two Barlows breakdowns. One to Lincoln about 1998. They sent a coach of fans back and me and a couple of mates got on that. The rest of my mates waited for another Barlows. It turned up late for them. New coach too claimed the driver. We were only 5 minutes from BP! They missed the first 2 goals we scored and then their replacement chugged all the way home. New Barlows my arse! Also Notts County when one broke down, they just stuffed another coach with fans for the last ten miles or so all stood in the aisle. No doubt broke all sorts of rules. The final trips I made with them was the quite mental 6 hours to West Ham when we just made kick off for the Carling Cup win. Going home we'd be going about an hour or so and then oh dear. The sigh of disappointment when Canary Wharf was seen at 11pm.... 3 days later I'd booked myself to go to Plymouth. Just the 14 hours. I wish I'd never bothered and we got a point!
  19. Seen plenty of the hi vis jackets with club badges on the back. Surely a cheaper option.
