My local side, Tonbridge Angels, have just been promoted to National League South. The final league make up was only decided this week. They've got 6 games booked already Pre season normally starts around Thurs 27th. So just over 2 weeks.

I'd say if money is so tight, we shouldn't be taking such risks.

Personally speaking, I think we've tried the talented but flawed project for too long. Our turnover of players is far too high for over a decade now. I'd rather we concentrate on a bit of quality for a time.. We might just get promotion and more a chance of staying together.

But if it was done as cost saving, why not announce it, even give it as an example as part of the "Plan".

So it is either part of the cost cutting plan for a club of our size , or an inherited problem. I doubt both at the same time. Another LS scoop.
