Just finished two good books recently first being The Peoples game about Football in the Old East Germany. A very good read goes into life in the East German state, players who used international competitions to escape to West. How the Stasi would spy and only select there own represntiavites to go watch East German clubs in Europe. How players where being spied on by there team mates how Dynamo Berlin where basically had the referees in there pockets and towards the end of East Germany football being used to protest but wasn't all bad and used to help the country and society also. Was written by Alan McDougall a good insight.

To be fair Singe before the protest group this summer me, Aaron, Savagethebeast off here and another lad did meet Simon Brooke off the trust. He took down a pre set of questions that where put to Simon. A second meeting that was suppose to happen never did. Sure if Westy was asked again he would and sure if he again set a list of questions etc. I wasn't involved in the protest group though didn't attend any of them so cannot comment.

Not a big Mike Keegan fan but part of me thinks he still has a beef with the club over the Koukash takeover he was bigging up while at the MEN. I did mention on Twitter earlier that Man City have had Chinese investment recently & Corney has never hidden the fact he wants closer ties with Man City. However this was before the statement tonight I reckon this is more to do with Scholes if anything. People always say why did he never sign or getting involved with he club permanently.
