  1. Was funny seeing the Scunthorpe fans on Twitter having ago at Charlton over there postponement under soil heating not turned on Charlton lots of injuries
  2. Or maybe Corney has accepted in some circumstances it's worth paying that little bit extra for some players
  3. Ackey if I do the same can I finally change my username to Rob Purdie
  4. My only visit there awful game that one, remember passing there old ground a few times on the train when going to Wales.
  5. Dunno simliar to Luton the other year Non League teams who have good FA cup runs are known for dips in there league form. Saying that I do rate there manager & his assistant did a great job at both Concord & Braintree.
  6. Named in Bristol Rovers reserves against Swindon this afternoon
  7. Good call was thinking Merseyrail to Chester may save a few ££
  8. The Embargo been lifted let's bring a few bodies in
  9. If you can get to Chester plenty of direct train services to it
  10. Before leaving for Notts Shez did say if Croft stays fit he his good to have in the dressing room. Suspect he be kept on till end of the season
  11. Still think there be plenty of Lower League teams taking a gamble on him
  12. Remember that final days of JKlatics seemed to be overrun with constant Tranmere fans and the people who moved JKlatics to another site. So was a few months behind joining OWTB as Prozac hit on earlier social media has changed football banter. My lap top use to consist of 4 pages one a Rugby League forum, 2 pages one on MSN and one that still exists. Sadly I came off the other 3 has it became full of idiots negative :censored: always moaning, fans thinking shire team was massive & going on about the easy chant. Fast forward it seems all the banter pages & Twitter related links are full of wannabe kids all thinking there hooligans. People thinking away followings win you games. Still maybe when the clubs fortunes change OWTB will. Still feel a lot of the negativity on here is more frustration however I can understand the younger fans who have never seen us out of this league but admire them for staying put. On a different note on the list of top threads very suprised you missed out from 5 years ago. Bacon Butty gate.
  13. Spot on they could of given Shez a sheepskin jacket & interviewed him in the falling snow it's a quick appoointment as you point out its what happens on the pitch that matters
  14. Like Robbo he said at a Q/A last year there was player in him who needed a rocket up his arse but was to much in his own comfort zone
  15. Rushden took the lead may have been 2-0 pretty sure the game they beat us at Nene Park was a full weeks before Talblot got the job at Latics
  16. Remember going to Dynamo Berlin there numbers have dropped and FSV Frankfurt fans all got shoved into one stand against Koln at Home but both made lots of noise. Lad I work with goes watching a small Turkish side says like the team you mentioned where noisey but small in numbers far contrast from the bigger teams.
  17. The first 3 clubs mentioned each had a decent spell in that League. Even Gillingham did for. While
  18. Mark Moisley did mention this at the last meet the manager but he made it out like it all be sorted by the 1st of Jan
  19. Went to Abbey Hey v AFC Liverpool today finished 3-2 Abbey they where 2-0 before Liverpool got it back to 2-2. Good game rained second half Liverpool has a few more fans noisey but not as many as other reformed or simliar themed clubs.
  20. Got to remember league form goes out the Window no points to be dropped so nothing to lose really in terms of goals conceded
  21. In the 90's and early 00's Grimaby, Stockport and Tranmere have all played in what is now the Championship same can be said for Gillingham, Posh and Oxford. Chester and Wrexham your right only ever known Chester to be in what is League 1 now for one season first year j really got into football
  22. Sorry but I know a few Milwall fans who are sound & looked after is both times we have played them. My niece is Grandad and family support them. Nice people you will met. Yes they have had a nasty reputation more so than others. But this sets a worrying trend & if goes through could happen to other clubs and have a lot of local fans who be sad to see there local club go to the wall or relocate to Kent. Hopefully fan power and a good legal team will put a stop to this.
