According to there website we are playing Stalybridge Celtic away 8th July.

The club have done charity events like the game a few years back later on. Even a bucket collection amongst fans. Sure if if they had Been something sooner or a more local game and something like this has happened I suggested it then.

I met Frank Skinner the night and Peter son was in aid of the Jeff Astle foundation. Skinner had some good stories and loved me talking about the Phoenix from the flames clips.

The event I was at Saturday was in memory of Jeff Astle and other footballers who in years later suffered from Dementia. One of the players in the article and mentioned is Peter Phoenix and his lad came talking to us on Saturday.
