  1. Just read this in the chron we should be doing more to keep talent like this. http://www.oldham-chronicle.co.uk/ Super Mac on cloud nine AARON James (left), of Chaddy End FC under-nines ‘B’, clears his lines. Carlton McIntosh Junior soccer round up BOUNDARY Park Juniors hot-shot Carlton McIntosh is taking the Tameside Sunday League by storm. The Radclyffe School pupil has scored 63 goals in only 14 games in all competitions for the under-13s this season, and recently put nine past Moston Valley Phoenix. “Carlton has both pace and power and is an outstanding prospect,” enthused manager Simon Wood. “He was at the Oldham Athletic centre of excellence for a short spell, but decided that was not for him. He enjoys it here and prefers to be with us.” What makes the 12-year-old’s goal-scoring feat even more outstanding is that he plays in midfield. This is his second season at Boundary Park Juniors and Carlton is spearheading his side’s assault on the title. They boast a 100-per-cent record in under-13s division ‘A’ — nine wins out of nine — and are through to the quarter-finals of the Challenge Cup. Their most recent success was against Hattersley FC, who were swept aside 7-1. Carlton claimed a hat-trick. Liam Wood weighed in with a double and Adam Rathbone got the other, and it was those goals which brought up the team’s century in the league this season.
  2. Anyone remember Brentford under Talbot poor performance open terrace pissing it down with rain some Oldham fans got there shirts off.

  4. Case of some people still wear them one of the enjoyments of supporting the team i love and being in the street and people not thinking hey your just a Man Ure or City fan. I vote for the Barca one. Good idea by the club get people to vote while where on high draw more interest.
  5. Huddersfield are one of the few clubs who have a good following to Boundary Park so what if we only get 9000 fans those 2000 or so fans from Huddersfield will make up moneywise for the say 200 or so we would get from hartlepool or Swindon.
  6. Agreed another TV tie could be Swindon or Barnet v Fulham if Bristol Rovers do not knock them out.
  7. A few years back Brentford played Hartlepool in the cup and it is was more or less a sell out at Griffin Park.
  8. I think Mansfield v Boro will be on TV plus Sheff United v West Ham if they beat City.
  9. I think it will be a very big crowd ok its Huddersfield but its still later round of the cup, personally i give Hudders 3000 and if they sell them all let them have RRE cash in while we can.
