  1. http://twitter.com/Matt_chambers_ Dickov has said there is nothing we can do regarding the Wesolowski situation. Tarky and Slew miss training due to slight injuries.
  2. I agree. This game Saturday is a big one, if you ask me (you didn't ask me but so what aha). If we lose, there's going to be alot more pished off than there is now. If we win and put on a good performance then it will make a few people abit more satisfied. As for the new stand, it will maybe quiet down away fans from singing 'Oldhams a s***hole I wanna go home'. I'm not assed one bit about the capacity of the stand as we can't even fill 3 sides so we don't want it too big because it'd just look stupid. We just need a safe, steady and clear future and we can do that by generating income. I'm not getting my hopes up though until I can see it up!
  3. I like it! Especially when there's quite a few singing it (which is rare). It is pretty funny though when it just fades, sounds awful.
  4. Absolutely and that's what I'm hoping for. Yep, it is negativity but that's just what I'm thinking at the moment.
  5. Out of them 4.. I honestly think 0 or maybe 1 if we are lucky.
  6. Apart from the odd weak 'Come On Oldham', there is no atmos being generated in the Chaddy. The only noise we get now is from the dudes in the RRE.
  7. I suppose they look at our 'ground' and just take the piss because it's a shed
  8. Who would you start and what do you hope for and what do you expect? Basically created this thread because I saw a few comments on ifs and buts about this game. ...discuss
  9. Yeah, I don't think we'll bring anyone else in. I do believe it's going to be a struggle this year.
  10. I agree with many of the posts above and I really do feel sorry for him. Dickov obviously has other plans (not sure what they are tbh) but I'd love to see him get a few games but that might just result in us hoofing it to him but yea' i do feel pretty sorry for the lad.
  11. Even though it's very early in the season, I have to say I agree with this.
  12. Spot on with everything you've said tbh! I'm pretty fed up too, it has to be said.
  13. Looks like one of their supporters is browsing through our beautiful forum ;) They've said a bit about us on theirs. http://www.upthesaddlers.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=42&p=975405#p975405
  14. Alot of people on the facebook page seem to fall back on the motto 'Keep The Faith' quite often... hmm
  15. Let's just see what he can do before slagging him off. I don't know who some of you guys were expecting but a team like us (with a very low budget) have to do the best we can and can't afford to bring in top notch players. He will more than likely take a few matches to get to his best or whatever but even then people will get on his back. I'm looking forward to see him play.
  16. I'm sure he played for Portsmouth pre-season. Can't remember who against but I'm pretty sure he did.
  17. I think the website looks proper crap atm. Everything looks so unorganised. Hope they sort it.
  18. Good post this. The Huddersfield game was the only game i've been able to get to this pre-season and you guys may disagree with me but I thought we looked strong today in parts. Croft looks pretty quick and looks like he has a few silky skills. Tarky & M'voto look like they are forming a good partnership. Tarky obviously needs to strengthen elements of his game but he is a great asset for us and I think he will develop massively this season if kept as first choice CB along with M'voto. Grounds looks like a decent left back. M'Changama looks very composed on the ball and has brilliant feet but I'm not sure if him being on the left will work out. Simpson was quiet today but still looks pretty good and Daniel Taylor looks like he could be a good player for us but just needs to settle in. As i've said the Udders game was the only game i've been to so far and it was good to see a few of the new players. The trialists were alright, didnt really see enough of them to make a proper analysis though. Looking forward to the season and what it brings and hopefully we don't have too many injuries throughout as the depth of the squad is not that great.
  19. Agreed. Tarky and Mvoto looked pretty damn good today. Tarky gave away a few balls but still looked very good.
