  1. The blame of the fan is implicit. There’s always one or two bellends. It’s the stewards’ jobs to not allow them onto the playing surface
  2. If he does well he’ll be gone. If he does bad he’ll be gone. Maybe someone else will take you up on that...
  3. Bittersweet day if you’re Fleetwood’s fan. Got Joey Barton interviews to endure for three years, but you get to watch your Mensa members play in Hummel strips
  4. Can’t wait for him to be reading Kant to them in the changing rooms
  5. In every group of 3000 people there will always be at least one bellend like him. Ultimately it’s the Rochdale and GMP’s fault and their fault alone that he got onto the pitch
  6. They left a section of probably 300 seats inaccessible towards the seated end, yet let fans come in from that same end of the stand for the first 10 minutes of the match, meaning everybody walked the length of the stand across the front Not to mention they let some twat run onto the pitch
  7. Won’t knock him for taking charge and leading a defence where the other players average 20 y.o., but he was very fortunate not to be directly at fault for two goals Thought Edmundson was motm by quite a distance. Rarely sit at pitch level and I was surprised by his size. Even more surprised that he was chosen over Gerrard to mark that Andrew twat, and he put himself about like a far more experienced defender than he is. Even managed to hold himself together when I thought he’d been embroiled in a battle which would get himself sent off. Although as with the nature of our managerial turnaround, he’ll end up benched again next season when somebody replaces Wellens
  8. They looked a far more incisive team than us and they can mix it up. I’d imagine the absence of Henderson meant they had to adapt. It was a mistake to not go with Holloway from the off. Nazon was dire tonight.
  9. Byrne’s come out and said that ‘neck is killing me’ presumably in reference to our hoof ball tactics. The lad was very poor tonight for me, however it doesn’t look too good for Wellens when one of the side’s best players comes out with that. Especially when it’s one he’s singled out publicly before I’ll get behind him if he continues on as manager into next season, but I don’t think he’ll be given the opportunity given how poorly we’ve utilised some of the best players we’ve had in years. It’s hardly that damning of Wellens that an experienced manager like Hill has outdone him like that in a big game, but it was blindingly obvious which manager was able to focus his players to execute a plan in a big match
  10. Determined to drag the club through the gutter. I’d say I hope he’s never let back through the gates of BP but I think we’d all secretly think that was a reward
  11. The lad who ran on the pitch was a cunt, but back page of a major national? If Keegan didn’t work for them it wouldn’t even be a headline. Showing his true colours once again.
  12. That he gave away a penalty? Let their lad in during the first half when he tried to run the ball out of play n all. Not that he wasn’t trying, he was just poor and looked done against their attackers.
  13. Gerrard was absolutely shit. Gave away a penalty and won nothing all night.
  14. If we stay up it’s by virtue of total luck. Appalling. Hamer, Placide, Hunt and Edmundson aside that was dross - latter handled himself very well against Andrew all things considered Byrne exemplifies it. A lad with a lot of talent could hardly pass it 5 yards. There’s something seriously wrong with this bunch
  15. Thing is, there are very few who could stand there and say they aren’t an exception to the rule of fans being quieter at home games than away games. Speaking generally across the nation not just Oldham fans. It’d be great to have the same atmosphere at home, but I don’t see how it will happen without a dramatic turnaround in form.
  16. Just wait til we’re top of the table after tomorrow’s 3000 following...
  17. It’s just the constant having a pop at fellow fans, acting as though we’re any worse than any other club. Of course it’s a shame but it’s par for the course Away atmosphere is better than the home atmosphere. So what? Fans have little to celebrate year upon year, it’s hardly a surprise or a something to be derided when they express a pride in their loyalty
  18. Do you keep a consistent level of silence or raucousness at home and away games? Assuming your support doesn’t fluctuate between home and away games...
  19. That'll be around 3000 then No excuse for the players to not be fully up for it
  20. If you’re going off disciplinary records Moimbe will be in the top 10 worst solely on the basis he has two reds, having played about 5 games for us As for Crooks, he’s from Rangers - what do you expect...
  21. We were defensively stable enough with him in the side and he created enough chances for us to win the match by a few goals. I’m not sure why you would drop him in that case, just because somebody who can’t feed the strikers may run about a little bit more.
  22. Don't get me wrong, when this has settled and we’ve stayed up (I hope) I’m sure I’ll be asking for him to be retained, but I wouldn’t begrudge Wellens if he decided against keeping him. A 29 year old should be experienced beyond that petulance
  23. And we learnt with him that it’s not healthy to have players like that in your squad because they cause problems... Moimbe might have cost us our place in League 1 today in the same way the friction with Hughes may have cost us our place in the league above
  24. There’s a considerable difference between a lad who can’t control his legs and one who can’t control his aggression. Punching somebody off the ball, in the box in the last minute when you’re 1 up in a critical game. Don’t want to see him in a blue shirt again
