  1. Balls into the paddock are nothing to do with 'the narrowing of the pitch'. They are the result of, generally, a ricochet, defensive hoof or poor execution of a pass. Mills had a poor game - it happens, but the thread isn't about that.

Exactly a pass down the line being in or out has nothing to do with where the line is now,or where it was last season.

A good pass down the line is played by someone who knows where they are stood relative to where the line is. It didn't move after any of the passes were executed.....I like Mills and think he will get back his form, it was not a pop at him.

  2. Still has a whiff of a training kit about it... but at least it actually exists, which is a start.

That should should wash out or return it for a clean one :)

Sadly football has moved on commercialisation has took over football. We rely on shirt sales and if we kept same design each season we make no money as people would not buy it.

Could be worse could have a Cardiff City owner who changes our home kit to red.

Does the club actually get a commission on shirt sales now with the sportsdirect deal? or is it just the rental / sponsorship?

Said training tops, for those interested.

What you cant quite see in the bottom pic. is, Lockwood is lifting the weight machine and Wilson aloft with one hand whilst standing on one leg...............Bove then picked Lockwood up by that leg ................................:)

  4. I think it is more believable that Wes was more than willing to stay with us and if the manager wanted him to stay, he would still be here.

Wes was a 100% performer and came into his own when the opposition had the ball but was found lacking when we had possession. Yes he popped up in the right place occasionally to finish off a move but not a player who could affect our possession play enough. Something about Wes that really stood out for me, was, for a below average height player just how high he could leap and time an header.

I think with Corey we have real footballer who is still young and learning and fits in more with how our manager wants to play.

I think Wes was never really in the managers plans and he would ideally have liked to have moved him on before the start of last season. I remember seeing a disappointed bit part player sat on the bench at the start of last season.

If we had a little more luck in front of goal in the first quarter of last season I don't think Wes would have been our player of the season.

I would like to say thank you to Wes for his outstanding efforts whilst with us and wish him the very best of luck with his future.

  5. I'm listening Mr BP, and although I suspect you'll be at BP, I'll speak to Roy and we'll get on air at 2.50 tomorrow to at least check that it's working.

Hopefully our regulars such as Bob, Bristol and Singe will be able to confirm.

Please tell them to come clean and admit the problems are not at our end! People would be more understanding if you (they) stop blaming the paying end-user and get it sorted
