  1. Probably doing his job and talking/bollocking the players. Rather him do that than talk to the media at this stage.
  2. Hmmm. I'm not one for panicking but that feeling is begining set in a bit. Just can't see us getting many results from the next few we have and it's the lack of results from teams I'd expect us to beat like your Shrews, Col u and these today... LJ has to bring a left back in as Mellor can't keep playing there. We need, above all a striker who can score off his arse, off his nose etc and isn't scared of getting clattered doing it. That's all teams like Orient have. Same with Trannies last year. We need a non pretty, experienced gritty player who can score. I guess it's just finding one.
  3. Didn't go today, sounded like we had the best of the last 20 mins with a couple of chances. This not correct O4u?
  4. Worryingly no, I'm not either. Unless something amazing happens in the window this month, we will struggle to. Having said that Worrall and Harkins both threatened today, give them games. Who knows ...
  5. Hmmmm. Thought this would have been a win today. Really lookingn need of a goal scorer now surely.
  6. JCH, Petrasso and Worrall on. Fresh legs it looks like. Nil shots on target a bit worrying. Need a goal scorer asap.
  7. Don't mind a bit of goal music, song 2 is quality, gives a bit of a lift to the atmosphere. It's only on for literally seconds anyhow...
  8. ...And breathe Blueheart!!! Ha ha. I agree with you in some ways there as I prefer wing play like today with our goal. I think Harkins in the hole will work better against the more technical sides in this league and not the cloggers like Stevenage as the just stop you from playing and causes 'hoof wars'. Just think LJ needs to perfect it a bit.
  9. I suppose I didn't note how much he lost possession so fair play BP. I do think it would have been a different score line if Charlie M or Rooney would have been on. JCH was not plugged in today at all.
  10. I Agree. Wasn't enough to have JCH upfront on his own. However who do you leave out to achieve this from midfield? Harkins solid. Smith is Smith and Wes is quality. Philly can be dangerous and Patts is growing all the time, and I don't think 3 across the back will work... Decisions Decisions eh???
  11. Decent win against an awful side. Couldn't fully get going but a win is a win. Would have liked another goal or two but hey it's 3 points.
  12. Looked very good to me. The big heavy forward we required who isn't easily knocked off the ball. Can only get better.
  13. Possibility of players not wanting to play for an over agressive manager?? We aren't talking about 2 fringe players here either?
  14. Doh!!!! Thought we would have signed Paddy. Oh well, next...
  15. Can't argue with that point, Twis. In that case, I'm all for the move
  16. Really? Shrewsbury? That suprises me, thought it would have been to a lower league team. Not one we are up against in terms of staying up?! Where have you read this?
  17. I reckon LJ will use Harkin more as an impact sub this season. Given his reported lack of running (St Mirren et al) I would say he will be used as a sub tomorrow.
  18. Oh and Paul Beavers from Sunderland (Or Stoke???). Scored a couple of mega important goals to keep us up. Granted not a 20+ goals a season striker...
  19. Did we have Corazzin on loan at first? I remember him being ok. Then again I was young in them days
