  1. Yeah I think we turned a corner today... I hate that one!
  2. Things could be worse, at least we are not Pompy or Coventry or even Luton town/ Stockport. I know that we possibly could be heading this way especially if Corney does pull the plug. My question to you is would you have happily seen us disapear or have had those moments where you think. Yes, this is my club and wouldn't have it any other way? For me I would have rather have had a club than be the man in the pub on Saturday that has no real interest in the results on sky or viddiprinter because he does not follow anyone. Beats being made to do diy or the garden!!!
  3. Don't care if crusty the clown is in charge. The guy deserves a chance to prove us all wrong. He is Oldham's new manager (most probably), people having a pop even before he has sat in his chair isn't going to help. Yes, not the appointment we expected but if he can kick that sorry lot up the arse and not be afraid to break some egos we may have a chance. TP did a sterling but didn't want the job so bringing some one in that does may make all the difference.
  4. Get rid of him. Stupid coke head. Absolutly disgusting. Should have had a point today. Dick head. Fuming is not the world....
  5. I just don't think we would survive relegation. Corney will dissapear with all the funds the club will crumble to nothing with just a bunch of kids turning out, maybe with the odd experienced loanee or hasbeen. It would smack of Stockport County IMO
  6. Nice to see two years away has improved your positivity DW!
  7. Give him games and Brown will come good I think... Deffo need a strong ball winner in Mid
  8. Brown in for Wabara with not very many first team apps is a change in defence. I do agree with you in some ways that manager should set the tactics around the team but when that team is changing constantly through AFCON, injuries and new additions, surely it is going to intereupt the way the squad gels and plays? Can't all be down to PD
  9. Exactly.... Not banking on getting the big name manager everyone seems to think we can get...
  10. Players need time to bed in though, get used to playing ours/PD's way. This plus lack of fitness/ games from Connor Brown, Iwelumo made the job harder. Yes we lost today and yes it was really a must win but with the players at our disposal now results will pick up. Rather than now having a first 11 plus kids, we have a first 11 with several good players to call upon when needed. Furms back mid Feb, plus fully fit Iwelumo, Barnard, and Brown plus time to gel and i reckon points will pick up.
  11. Don't think SC has the balls to do it tomorrow/Monday. Think he will make doubly sure and give PD a home game to do it.
  12. Again, I agree with your post BP1960. Missing an enforcer for me. If Furman that man... Not sure. Loan window opens next week.....
  13. Agreed, Him and Barnard up front would be a pain to play against...
  14. Not a chance.. Still our best player for me.
  15. Won't be in league 2 mate, will survive by the skin of our teeth, beating Orient in stoppage time with a deflected goal from Dean Bouzanis in the 99th min...Thats my shout....
  16. Whilst I too would sell my house, car, wife and son to get someone like Grayson in, we couldn't afford him, and also we don't have the resources that he would like to play with and accustomed to using.
  17. I don't know if putting big Tony in charge on Tuesday is the way forward. PD should have the Tuesday game against the bumpkins and then appoint before Sat if needs be.
  18. I think if we didnt have the game on tuesday that would have been it.
  19. I reckon gone by tomorrow, I doubt that statement by Corney was for no reason, to prepare himself, the fans and the players for what was to come if defeat was the result today. Or it could be Tues is his vey last chance and anything other than a win and and a convincing one at that will see Paul sacked
  20. Gives us time to concentrate on the league I suppose without extra fixtures with a very thin squad, Wembely will be there next season when we get to the final anyways, even though I'm a little dissapointed to be out of yet another cup..... oh well onward and upwards as they say.
  21. Much needed, a vital win for the boys and PD, Now kick on Latics!!!
