  1. I genuinely think Manish has contempt for us. He hates saying 'Oldham' and we are just swept under the rug, usually quickly followed by a put down even though we have won. 'Response from Oldham particually after a heavy defeat to Wolves'! Oh my God BBC it's every bloody week! And giving Steve Evans that much air time is not what anyone needs on a Sunday morning with a hang over. Yes he was wearing guy liner. Prat.
  2. Don't know. Dons shipped late against Trannies today at home so fancy that one and subsequently home. Gills can be dangerous but still beatable. Brizzle, knowing us will do a job on us because we are expected to win, so yeah. 9 looks good to me.
  3. They are probably finding some other team's forum to complain on. Nothing negative to write about today.
  4. Just goes to show people shouldn't right off players before they've played. Lockwood had been slated on previous threads. Yet played really well today.
  5. Fantastic result. Clean sheet, check, 3 points check, bet win, check. What a good do!
  6. And judging by other threads today, the melt down continues... god help us if we lose today. Some will be on suicide watch!
  7. Good stuff. Hopefully will get extended. Experienced striker, can actually head the ball can be dangerous at set pieces. Will do for me.
  8. Still don't think we are done yet. A few hours left of the window, a few top earners gone and a few lesser paid players in. Can't help feeling there is a possibility of a few out of cantract players joing too, LJ has alluded to the possibility of this on fishal. With a bit of extra wage there could yet be a bigger signing or possible loanee?
  9. Ahhh, Genius!! And thanks for that!! Will practice that bit of tricky very soon
  10. I didn't know who that was until I resesrched him and I have to say O4U, brothers????!!!
  11. http://m.youtube.com/results?q=oldham%205%20peterbourgh%204&sm=3 Linky
  12. For continuity in a crap league I'd say yes. but it won't come to that.
  13. Because ultimately Lockwood is naturally left sided and from what I understand isn't a CB. Mellor would be better off more central and we don't have anyone else on the books to play in a defensive role who is tried and tested. Unless you played Brown Kusunga Mellor Grounds I suppose.
  14. If he was to leave and LJ was not to replace him in favour of a striker, would leave us with two possible defence line ups? 1) Brown Kusunga Grounds Lockwood 2) Kusunga Mellor Grounds Lockwood Can't see LJ moving Korey to right back as too important in midfield role. Good enough to push on with? Discuss? Am I missing anyone out?
  15. Ok I agree with some on the list there particularly Stephens and Lee however 09-10 We struggled more with goals than this season and got battered more often. Abbott hit 13 that year, Philly and Rooney already on the way to that. Plus I distinctly remember relying on Smalley, Keigan Parker and Lewis Alessandra to come off the bench. We have more options at this moment in time plus a more flowing style of football that hasn't yet clicked. Whist I acknowledge we do need to start picking up points quickly to avoid the pressure of and end of season dog fight which as we all know can end up badly, I reckon we have been in much worse shape both in terms of staffing and finances.
  16. Here we go, a relegation thread. Dear oh dear. Yes some of our last few games have been ropey, I'm not denying that but come on Matt, It's January not end of fricking March! Plenty of games left we have hung on for 3 or more seasons and this team isn't worse than what we had under Penny, nor is our manager as clueless.
