  1. SC is picking a new manager not for himself but the clubs new owners (deal lined up and pen goes to paper after the everton game).. the manager is Sammy Lee and the new owners are a newly founded company which is own by the Vaughan family.. i.e Stephen Vaughan the the fraudster that bankrupted Chester City i cant say to much about the source of this information but he is a scout with close links to latics and has never been wrong with his info before
  2. seen somewhere that SC had 20 managers show interest in the job once the news about PD went public found a list of managers link to the job on http://www.thesackrace.com/job-centre Nick Barmby Blackpool, Oldham Athletic Phil Brown - Blackpool, Huddersfield Town, Notts County, Oldham Athletic, Stoke City, West Ham United Owen Coyle - Arsenal, Aston Villa, Blackpool, Celtic, Everton, Fulham,Huddersfield Town, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United,Notts County, Oldham Athletic, Republic Of Ireland, Stoke City,Tottenham Hotspur Alan Curbishley - Arsenal, Aston Villa, Blackpool, Celtic, Everton, Fulham,Huddersfield Town, Manchester United, Oldham Athletic, Republic Of Ireland, Stoke City, West Ham United Billy Davies - Blackpool, Celtic, Everton, Huddersfield Town, Oldham Athletic,Rangers, Stoke City, West Ham Iain Dowie - Huddersfield Town, Oldham Athletic, Stoke City, West Ham United Peter Houston - Blackpool, Huddersfield Town, Oldham Athletic Paul Ince - Blackpool, Everton, Huddersfield Town, Manchester United, Notts County, Oldham Athletic, West Ham United Alan Irvine - Notts County, Oldham Athletic Steve Kean - Huddersfield Town, Oldham Athletic Paul Jewell - Huddersfield Town, Oldham Athletic Derek McInnes - Celtic, Oldham Athletic, Rangers Gary Megson - Huddersfield Town, Notts County, Oldham Athletic, Stoke City, West Ham United Micky Mellon - Blackpool, Huddersfield Town, Oldham Athletic out of that list Jewell, Megson, Dowie seem realistic possibilities that id be happy with
  3. There was loads of Everton fans in the home ends at Bolton in the last round "There could be trouble a head"
  4. Wabara was a cut above this division, we will miss what he had to offer going forward, that being said with a few more games under his belt brown will perfect for stopping the crosses coming in but we will have to rely on the midfielders to do the work on the planks... We need to get the goals in early as possible and defend the lead to avoid the drop to league2
  5. Vassell was who I was told and who I was hinting at... Just hope we not spending a packet on his wages
  6. Ex England international so I've heard ;)
  7. Loved Paul Murray when he was last with us, didn't want him to leave, as you can see from the links already posted he is a true professional and is surely a good signing even if he is going to be a squad player, he might be the kind of player we need to get other players to keep a level head when we are (dare I say it) "defending a lead"
  8. i very much doubt thousands of evertonians will be turning up on a tuesday night to get vouchers to que up outside bp midweek for home end tickets... use your head
  9. i would love grayson at latics but i seriously doubt there is enough money in the pot to part ways with dickov and pay the kind of wages grayson would want, if i come in to a large lottery win tonight, i would be tempted to fund this venture thou
  10. i support oldham... why would i want to do to an fcum match or even emulate disgruntled united fans pretending to be foreigners with there ultra crap
  11. what this gent said.. this is england.. we not part of this European football culture we never have been.. there is nothing more cringeworthy than watching english fans emulating foreign fans... perfect example of this "the poznan" sign your hearts out by all means but leave the organised drumming, balloons, colour shows etc out.. it really is pathetic... i admire your determination to get some much need atmosphere back to bp but ultra is not the way
  12. is true a droylsden based latics fan got caught up in this.... short fella?
  13. i would of sooner played them in the isle of man
  14. i don't care whether its inspired by Wordsworth or a clever ploy for future investment.... its dreadful
