Neil Moore was a strange one - I think the guy suffered stage fright, I did think he had some basic talent unlike some of the others mentioned but at Oldham everything he did or tried to do was a disaster and he just got worse. Feeney was the biggest fraud of a footballer I have ever seen. The in-laws were massive Stockport fans and they worshipped him. How the hell he played so many games for us I don't know. It was not a lack of confidence like Neil Moore that made him shit it was a total lack of effort and to me that is the worst crime.

I missed very few home games from the mid 70's onward till the early 90's but one game I did miss was the 5 - 0 home win. I was absolutely devastated and never forgave my sister for making me miss the game! Strewth I wish I was going to this game I just get the vibe that this could be a classic.

Not sure why we have signed another developing striker, we have a few already. Anyhow, I wish him all the best. So what is the pecking order for striker spots in the next few games? Given that the Duck played well and AH scored? Is Davies due for a spell on the bench ( I hope not)?

Looked very useful and after a couple of games under his belt to get match fitness and a better understanding of the English language and systems (well Gerrard's scouse version of it) I think we have a good solid player on our hands. Question for you peoples - Is Wilf Moimbe a loan signing or permanent until the end of the season? The way the signing was worded emphasising a short-term deal suggests to me we have signed him on a full transfer.

Yep - with Davies, Nazon as starters and Doyle waiting in the wings our forward line up is the best its been in years Defence still a concern but they looked better today - or was that Bradford being poor?

Bradford, though on a poor run, are still in the top 6 and a win against them was a very good result. We looked a more balanced team with a proper left back, 2 up front and with Pringle and Gardener taking the workload of Byrne so he did not have to do everything.

If we can get a great 60 or 70 mins out of Nazon and replace him with AH playing in a 2 up front with Davies then we should score at least one goal - up to the defence to do the job at the other end and that might be the real problem.

Out of all the local or local-ish teams, it's these twats and Noblot that I hate most, with a fkn passion! I hope that we trounce these tossers so bad they shudder at the very name of Oldham Athletic for the next 3 decades.

His goal scoring ability is not good enough to be one of our centrebacks. How many did Clarke score last year + how many has Gerrard scored this year v Holloways career? Subs bench striker only is my opinion when Doyle or A.N. Other is in the team. But we need another quality CB as soon as possible.
