  1. We were lucky coleman managed to walk off his injury in the same passage of play that Wilson picked up his.
  2. Good side barnsley. Won't be surprised if they sneak the last playoff place. If they don't and they keep that squad then it'll be a good shout to win the league next year We were unlucky first half with injuries. Meant we didn't really get going and barnsley carved us open a few times. Goal was coming. Didn't expect anything at half time but good spirited 2nd half got us back into it. Main and forte were superb and caused them problems all night. Cassidy is an embarrassment. His only contribution tonight was to miss the ball for the goal - hes robbing a living as a footballer and I hope we somehow get rid in the summer. All he did all game was show no desire, forget how to jump and whinge at the players who were running their arses off all night. Coleman deserves credit. He kept the score down a few times in the second half and pulled off some cracking saves. Thought we were going to hold on but not to be. Silly challenge for the pen. No need to dive in and got done by a clever little routine from barnsley. Barnsley have to have the worst home fans in the league. 8000 at home in a key game to help propel them closer to the playoffs and not one song heard all night. Was a free night in some respects and I'd have rather lost tonight than any of the recent ones we've won
  3. Car full of us decided we are going now after the Walsall win. None had any intentions Take about 700 I reckon
  4. Only sang 3 songs. Embarrassing support
  5. Me too. It's my sisters wedding so hoping for Plymouth/bristol rovers to come up and face then away. If it's bolton away I'll have to explain to my sister why I've missed half her wedding day
  6. Could see why Walsall are you there first half. Very good side and we did well to go in all square. 2nd half we bossed it and they were half the side they were in the first. Massive win
  7. Southend and millwall?? Yes tough places to go but southend are 8 points behind with 6 games to play for. That's a tough ask and realistically a lot of fans and players could have wrote the season off already and be thinking about their holidays. Alternatively millwall are likely to have sealed a playoff place by the time we tip up there. They've very winnable games in their next 4 games. Crewe will be down by the time they come here and covs season has collapsed already.
  8. http://fleetwood.streetmapof.co.uk/w/ Plenty of kids at the shop near the ground last year. Sure one of them will gladly go and buy a ticket for the home end for a quid or two. Love how they try to make out there'll be no chance of getting in ? sensible thing would be to send another 500 over and move their fans up to the next blocks in the side stand- like we had to do when burnley etc brought thousands and came in the paddock. It's not like they come anywhere near to filling the ground. They only get 2000
  9. Probably the same dicks who were on Facebook and Twitter saying they won't get one as we won't win a game in the 4 and don't fancy watching league 2 football for 350 quid Same lads who moaned they had no money to afford one yet spent £80 on away days. Everyone knows they come out this time every year. So don't get how people don't put as little/much away as they can each month in preparation. Obviously circumstances such as yours are a rarity and understandable but there was loads who slagged the club off for the offer who simply had an axe to grind with Corney or didn't fancy the potential of Barnet at home on a Tuesday night for 350 quid. No sympathy for any who fall into this bracket who now have to stump up about extra 150 quid
  10. They've brought 1850, 2110 and 2500 in 3 of their last four visits here. The other was a Tuesday night when both of us had nothing to play for and they had around 1000 Best support at BP year on year. Even if most of their fans are bellends
  11. No were not but we're in a damp sight better position than when the offer came about.
  12. I'd sign him to be used as a sub. 1-0 up or 1-0 down last twenty he'd be perfect and give tired defenders all kinds of problems The key signing in the summer would be Gerrard for me
  13. So much for conspiracy theories from those fans with an axe to grind I doubt Corney will mind if it means we stay up and see the likes of Bolton and blades bringing 2000+ compared to Barnet and Newport bringing 20 on a Saturday
  14. Glad we made that easier work than all the other home wins. First team we've killed off at home this season. Keep doing what we are doing and we'll be out of the relegation zone when it matters
  15. It'll sell out. Even at those horrendous prices
  16. Before the offer there was loads saying they weren't going to renew. We were 2nd faves for the drop and looked doomed. No one will ever know how many people wouldn't have bothered next season. I wouldn't have myself if we'd gone down and looking at the teams in league 2 doubt I'd have stepped foot in BP next season the 3 lads I go with were all the same. So there's a grand the club have at present they wouldn't have seen had they not done anything to entice and try to keep people interested Our budget is never going to compete with the elite of th8s league. Burton and to lesser extents Walsall and dale prove you don't need big budgets to do well
  17. The budget would have been even worse had there been no offer and people stuck to their word and not bothered renewing. Like so many had threatened to do. Great offer and if we stay up on the back of 2/3 home wins then happy days League 1. 6 clubs who will bring 1600+ League 2. No club who will bring more than 600 bar pompey who will probably go up
  18. So long as you're not on that side terracing. Non league esque
  19. My missus of four years follows the games purely to see how pissed off i'll be when I get in. She doesn't like football but will pretend to take an interest. She's been a couple of times to the big games but hasn't fully forgiven me from when I uppercutted her celebrating matt smiths Everton equaliser. Comprised this year and got my first season ticket since we got together....with the stipulation being that I wouldn't do away games. By August id got that upto 5 and now I think she's stopped counting as I've already passed that.
  20. Think he's on about studds bar under the stand behind the net where you can go and have a half time pint. Facility wise that is better than what we have You're right though. Spotland as an area is a :censored:hole. Its like having BP in the middle of Fitton Hill.
  21. Would like Holloway to be more selfish but his part in the goal was class. Mains work rate is superb Regardless of division next season is be happy if we signed any of them three in the summer
  22. Always looked like it'd be one goal in it. Two poor sides tonight Couple of months ago we'd have lost that Blackpool right back was good. Forte got found out for being too predictable. Same at there place
  23. Port Vales scout did a good job. First 25 minutes he was targeted and bullied out of the game. Couldn't move a yard without having someone snapping at his heels
  24. I was getting one anyway regardless of division. Ringing to renew mine and a couple of others tomorrow. Heard some absolute :censored:e since this offer came out. Sure some of you would rather the club did nothing. The ones about added pressure are the most ridiculous though - if they don't feel pressure already then we're :censored:ed.
  25. If burnley go up he'll be surplus to requirements so doubt they'd stand in the way of getting him off their books for next to nowt.
