A group of us stayed over in Peterborough the other year when we last played them. Two nil up and f**ked it up. Nightlife is similar to Oldham. So dont expect much. The boat pub is about as good as it gets before and after the game. We did Southend and Southampton around the same time. Those two were far better trips. I wont be going back.

Give the kids a break and stop labelling all of them under the same bracket.

Amazing season that one. Anyone else at Ninian Park when Eyresy bagged the late equaliser................mental celebrations until everyone realised the thousands of baying taffs towards 200 away fans. Friday night if I recall right too. Followed up a few week later by hundreds celebrating Eyresy's late free kick on the pitch at Stockport. That night at QPR was by far the best atmosphere i've seen against Latics. Awful feeling after the goal and the unreal save from Day right at the death. Didnt feel disappointed when we got beat off Blackpool a few seasons later in the playoffs as they completely dicked us. Didnt Wijnhard bag six that season against Mansfield? 'Dale lived there for first twenty years of my life. Always got free tickets at school and uncles are big Dale fans. Celtic. Family connection north of the border. Loads of my family are season ticket holders so its been drilled into me since a young age. Go up a few times a season. Albion Rovers. Local team where my family in Scotland are from.
