  1. Surprisingly our popularity amongst ground hoppers might go up and those who travel from the continent to watch United and City who may be looking to take in a game on a Saturday afternoon if they are playing on a Sunday, granted it won't be significant bit they will be there all the same.
  2. He played mainly on the left wing but I've upboated all the same
  3. Fear not, Mike Keegan can see it and let everyone know who the fans choice is.
  4. I was hoping he'd be in ASAP, 10 days leaves little if any time to strengthen and after Saturdays performance it would give the whole club a lift.
  5. When is AL due back from Dubai? Might be the only thing holding the deal back because I suspect he'd want his picture printed all over the Nationals given he's ploughed a good few quid into us thus far.
  6. Think his point was a general one Monty, I'd certainly class you as a more positive contributor.
  7. Agree, he's certainly a good appointment for those two. You could probably add Branger to that list too although some of our fans don't rate him yet.
  8. If you want to go further back some of our more senior posters could remind us of what the late great Jack Rowley did for the club in the early 60's, a guy who had previously scored over 200 goals in a glittering playing career at United.
  9. Thing that's really pissing me off about this is all our own fans slagging him off calling him red scum and similar on Twitter and the like, now I appreciate he had a glittering career which he was never going to have with his boyhood club and nobody should begrudge him that but to start saying 'Scholes out' already on the basis that he played for United shows how thick some of our fanbase are, probably the same planks who sing 'Andy Ritchies magic' whenever it's piped up, you know the ex United player who supports United and works for MUTV. I hope our own fans grasp this chance of Scholes coming here because he's a winner, doesn't know what failure is and given the chance will get us back where we belong, I've no doubt about that. Anyone against this appointment and what it could do for our club seriously needs to give their head a wobble.
  10. Really??? He's done okay at times but I'm struggling to pick out the occasions he's been excellent.
  11. It normally depends who is betting, it would take significant amounts to move in to 1/20 though or they are privvy to information that's not out there, in my opinion they have probably got wind that it won't be Wild and altering the market accordingly.
  12. Saving themselves for Doncaster innit... Unfortunately you can't kid the fans who pay good money to go and watch them shitting out and not competing. Problem is the match day squad picks itself so there isn't much chance of those who've downed tools today of being dropped which is a shame because on that performance six or seven would be lucky to be selected for next week.
  13. Biggest mistake for me is playing Nepo at fullback, arguably our most influential and creative forward player for the majority of the season. Maouche non existent as was Sylla who looks like he needs time and is a walking red card, biggest gripe of today was the lack of heart and desire which is indefensible.
  14. 5 points of playoffs and 54 points to play for would suggest it's not over yet.
  15. You leave our Billy alone, although he may be a little quieter on Monday now.
  16. Hamers had a good half the rest of them have been a bag of shite. 2nd best all over the pitch particularly centre mid where Rose is running the show.
