  1. Embarrassing again. Conlon, Norwood, Kitching, Gardner, Dallas, Walker all less than 5/10. You can't carry that many dead legs. Who would you give MOM to? They were all shit to a man.
  2. Thought it was a stonewall penalty, also thought Norwood could of done better with the header.
  3. Fucking awful half of football, front two anonymous, Conlon piss poor, I thought he was brought in to put his foot on the ball. Everyone around us winning.
  4. Getting motion sickness watching this, cameraman must be on the back of a speedboat.
  5. Ref inspected at 2pm and postponed it, Can't imagine he would of given a flying fuck about the rugby.
  6. Couldn't agree more particularly at home where we have been over cautious in my opinion, should beat these today if we have a go.
  7. Halifax v Ebbsfleet postponed today, waterlogged pitch.
  8. Which again is a symptom of playing 7-1-2, all four of them and probably others including Reid would bag plenty in a team set up to have a go.
  9. Couldn't pick Norwood out on the latest from Chapel Road, any news on whether he's available tomorrow?
  10. I don't actually but my memories not what it was so I'll watch it back as I can't recall him pinging it anywhere other than on to 6 foot 6 centehalfs heads for the majority of the season.
  11. One thing I dislike in him is his inability to keep the game moving, he's forever killing momentum by not reading the game, he literally slows every passage of play down and it's the reason teams are happy to throw men forward because they know they'll have plenty of time to get back and reset, we sometimes have two or three on two up top when an opposition attack breaks down but it never goes early, most frustratingly he puts it up there anyway when they have everybody back and invariably we don't win it.
  12. That's a shame and it will make a difference to some, strange one though given we've been free of the crooks for a couple of years now. Have other clubs experienced similar problems?
  13. Let's see how presumably the same group perform tomorrow before we start putting that performance at home to Chesterfield on a par with when we beat West Ham 6-0, as was proved on Wednesday Chesterfield are sputtering their way over the line and yet they still could of beaten us on Saturday and probably would had they played Dobra, Mandeville and Colclough from the start, they played so narrow for the first hour it almost gave McGahey and Gardner a free reign out wide. Still I expect us to beat Dagenham regardless of the eleven he puts out.
  14. That may be the general consensus but we've set up so defensively 1 in 5 clean sheets is a poor return, now you can't solely blame this on Hudson but you'd expect a better return given we've sacrificed so much attacking play to try and appear more solid.
  15. 5 clean sheets in 25 since Mellon came in despite us playing seven at the back is a poor return, he's still relatively young but as you've suggested we could probably do with an upgrade. Personally I'd be happy if we went after someone like Ripley.
  16. Massive game, should be same eleven but Mellon might be tempted to bring Hobson back in given the frailties we showed on Saturday. Nothing but a win for me. One defeat in five is no use to nobody if we've drawn four of them. I'll keep saying it but this home form nobody really cared about is likely to bite us right on the arse in a week or two. Need to win next two just to put ourselves back in the mix.
  17. Chesterfield are 30 points clear of us and have effectively eased up as it's in the bag, they'll do just fine in League 2 next season as teams do who go up out of the NL, if anyone thinks they'll come straight down we'd better give it a swerve with the squad we've got.
  18. Could work against us that one, half the Chesterfield squad are likely to be in Ibiza by 16th April. Not a chance that's on tonight the rain we've had in past 24 hours.
  19. We regularly had sub 4k crowds in what was the old Championship and away attendances further than Birmingham were always pretty poor late 80's.
  20. Might have been Ian Wright's debut for Palace?
  21. If we lose against Halifax and Altrincham I feel we will miss out, Dale wont be easy at home neither. I don't think 12 points is enough particularly if the two I've mentioned beat us. Hopefully our mindset has changed when playing the minnows at home, if not Fylde and Wealdstone at home will prove tricky, add to that both those teams played us off the park at their own ground and will have nothing to fear.
  22. There was no foul to show, watch our highlights on YouTube, officials gave a decision for something they didn't see. Crooks.
