  1. He's a young lad who has been punching above his weight for the last 3 months. He is not a midfield player, i see him as a striker. Needs an overall rest.
  2. Worrying, no bite in midfield, no natural leader on the pitch. Coming up agains an MK Dons side who beat us by 7 when we had a stronger side than we have now. Could be a cricket score, then again this is Latics in a very Jekyl and Hyde season, could win by 7. Who knows.
  3. Excellent, will be using this as a graphic with my year 7s When they get an answer right! Cheers!
  4. Some of us DO go week in week out and have spent equally as much. I understand if times are hard but seriously after beer goggles have have warn off you'll feel different tomorrow, I speak from experience.
  5. Funny, Isn't it, how you never post on here until some thing negative happens across all threads. Did you even go today?
  6. Sat there Watching that today was like watching us pre Dickov. Long ball, no real drive Or determination .No offense to Deano but we need somebody outside the current staff on that effort, we need to stay up!!!
  7. End of the season or not, I for one will be supporting my club and Deano. Yes it's not ideal, yes it may be temporary but the football doesn't stop just because LJ has gone.
  8. Back on the new manager lottery we go. So long as it's not fronted by that annoying bimbo, Fiona Phillips, I'm OK with that.
  9. If Johnson goes I doubt this squad would look anything like this one. The players that the crows won't pick at i.e not particularly sellable (Not necessarily ones i'd like to keep I might add) will be Murphy, Phillis, Kusunga, Lockwood, Brown, B Wilson, Poleon, Turner, Bove, AMS, Coleman, Truelove, Mills. The rest will either return to parent clubs or sold on I reckon.
  10. I could try and doctor the words to a cliff song for you, however I haven't the time or the patience so I won't
  11. Odd result again. I mean I haven't listened to or seen the game but we have this awful record against some poor teams. It's as if we just turn up and expect to win against said teams, then put the effort in against the big boys. Be interesting to see how we are against PNE next Saturday (It had better be a good game as it's my birthday! Sort it for me lads!)
  12. I'm not sure who we would bring in if LJ goes. For instance, I don't think we would get a Danny Wilson because he likes a big transfer buget and we simply couldn't offer that. Gary Johnson did a decent job in getting Yeovil promoted but again couldn't achieve much more than his small wage budget in the Championship, I.E a bridge too far, which would be the same position if we went up With him. Dowie earns too much elsewhere to even consider us. Nigel Adkins, will never happen. just going off some names mentioned on here. I agree with Palmer on this one. It would be another young, unproven manager. We have been lucky this time with LJ in finding a bit of a Gem. However it didn't work with Dickov, who's to say it would next time?
  13. Wish I could up boat this post more, if only for your neat Monty Python esq close to your argument! !
  14. Brought on the three subs at once because we needed to. Some very abject performances and the system needed changing.
  15. Mellis played very deep, however that is no excuse for how :censored: he actually was.
  16. Apologies if already posted but my brother in law says beware the mobile speed camera on the M180 on the way to Scunthorpe.
  17. Yeah, I see what you mean. Too many cooks and all that. Still could be useful to have that bit of objective outside eye though.
