    maybe theyve fixed the seats back together that were all useless to sit on in the bit we were in " steward sit down son " me surveying a sea of broken wooden seats " what on " steward " erm oh right youve got a point " wanders off mumbling and recounting his fingers !

    as usual this club never fail to amaze me had exactly the same problem during joe royles era can remeber many a game where big joe would exhort us to get behind the team as we were quite the game before then we would spend the game being told to sit down & shut up and be under threat of ejection from our own stewareds all game meanwhile fans of whom ever the oppo were could merrily roar there team along un hindered typical oldham im affraid nothing supprises me anymore

    the one i couldnt believe was the old guy sat near me very animated and noisy when we were 3-1 down soon as were 4-3 up sat with his arms folded with a face like abulldog likin piss off a nettle didnt smile clap or cheer once we were infront . most be one of the lookers upper moaners pissed of cos his nights been ruined now down the legion !

    elland road last january they moved there own fans to the more expensive seats (typical bates ) to accomodate us lots of them were moaning about it

    very very badly blistered and infected left foot doctors told him not to walk for aweek ! had a days rest thurs then back at it 30 miles matlock to hayfield yesterday bloody proud of him some drama queen !

    we did indeed set off from the lantern pike at 8.10 clearing glossop at 1000 cracking pace have been joined bye phills girlfriend andys brother and dad so the group of five making there way up mottram cutting and through stalyvegas as i type hope to see some of you in town center around 12.30 at the bucket collection then join us down to the ground see you later folks

    had a text off phill ,yesterday went well after the non appearance of the sky sporst news team delayed the start weather was near perfect for the walk .got a little lost in london but reached the hotel in good time . delayed start this morning due to oversleeping weather crap but persevering good luck lads !
