  1. Listening in Spain to commentary on BBC on line. Quite good too. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/66762660
  2. Not really weird and he may think helping out for a few weeks here is nice change
  3. Not starting Norwood to me would show he IS capable of making ‘tough calls’.
  4. Simply yes. Norwood’s footballing brain is at another level than the rest of the strikers.
  5. Oh yes I agree. I said it may have been Sutton’s best game at RB not that he was great. We definitely need a RB and one or two better midfielders in my opinion.
  6. Green started well but as usual fades off spectacularly 25 mins or so. Thought Sutton had possibly his best game at RB. Good win against a good York side but we still give the ball away to often.
  7. “Another good manager has lost his job”. Unsworth? Deary me…….
  8. You never know with Latics but Mark Jackson failed in his only managerial job at MK Darrel Clarke is a possible for me. If he can get Garrity playing like he did he’s definitely got something.
  9. That’s bollocks mate. I’m in the main stand and that’s simply not true.
  10. I just keep thinking it’s going to click and we’ll start playing well and winning games but it’s not going to happen is it? We need change now and Frank unfortunately by his own admission knows nothing about football and clearly knows even less about football fans/supporters. Dear me…….
  11. That’s it. I’m giving it a rest and not going for 4 weeks. Mind you I am in Spain.
  12. Frank bought the club, made a plan and presumably is calling the shots. Much of it is going to plan but not on the field of play which of course is what it's mainly about. Frank is on record in a Radio Manchester interview that top 5 is the target for this season and so far it's not happening and doesn't look like it will from what everyone has seen to date. Thats why it is not satisfactory........
  13. That is not satisfactory. It's leaving it too late as far as I'm concerned because it will have to be be some winning run!! I'd give him until beginning of October and if there is no significant improvement and I mean a BIG improvement he should be gone. I'm hoping he'll fall on his sword sooner than later.......
  14. I too thought the bench was a strange choice and assumed perhaps he's trying to get Tollitt and Hope out to bring someone else in. Couldn't think of any other reason. Bringing Fondop on did improve it slightly but I thought taking Gardner off for Willoughby made us worse. I was going to reserve judgement on Unsworth till 10 games but I can't see anything changing in the next 2 to make me think he's the right man. We are simply miles off the standard we need to be and in my opinion there is little or no improvement to the team with the new signings. Lundstram isn't going to affect it that much. We're just a poor team.
  15. I did quite enjoy it however I'm struggling listening to Matt at the moment. In particular when he supposedly wants other people's opinions but seems to me to reply to them perhaps in a slightly condescending manner even describing something as bullshit. Or am I imagining it? I probably am..........
  16. Agree with this post. I gave him ten matches to show us that the team is playing well, looking good and in the playoff positions pushing for the top two. Clearly that isn't happening so I suspect if we don't get 6 points from the next two games it would be pointless waiting to hit the ten games stage before saying he has to go. Frank recently said on Radio Manchester that the target this season is top five (I'm paraphrasing) so he and the board can't leave it too long before making the change.
  17. This appears to be a live link on YouTube https://youtube.com/watch?v=V9BqMBXf7q4&feature=shared But it's not lol
