  1. Someone will always take Shez. He’s this generation’s Brian Horton.
  2. I love being 17th in league two. Having no hope of ever doing anything means you’re never disappointed. Hopefully we’ll just keep existing for many years to come.
  3. Keep Mac. (Won’t happen) New Keeper. Dominant centre half. Ball winning midfielder.
  4. Good shout. It’s tricky one though. The result will massively dictate how much I enjoy the funeral.
  5. If it’s 0-0 and your positivity means I miss the funeral, I’ll be livid. . .
  6. It’s a toss up between tommorrow’s game and the funeral for pure excitement value.
  7. Quite. If I want a tenner for something, and somebody asks would I be hypothetically willing to sell it for 7 quid, Well- maybe, but I haven’t really got a decision to make. If somebody puts a fiver under my nose, I maybe more amenable. We have rightly have a go Blitz for a lot of things, but to my knowledge no one has actually made him offer or given him something to think about.
  8. Whatever amount of millions it is Mick. AL nor the fans have it.
  9. You’re point about what is actually for sale is spot on. We know Blitz wants circa 6 million for the north stand, so for arguments sake, let’s say he wants 10 million for the entire lot. That’s a huge amount of money for a group of fans to find. . . so again IMO Blitz would need to lower his price. Having said he’s not been put in a position by a group of fans saying ‘we’ve raised 5 million - will you take it. . If it ever did come off, the idea of AL being answerable and accountable to the fans (his landlords) is very enticing.
  10. Great question. Although extremely unlikely, I think in that instance it would all depend on what the value of the land is. He would need it to be worth more than 6 mill to not lose his money on the north stand. I’d also be interested to know from other posters in the building trade if demolition costs affect the sale of any land. Because let’s say he sold it to Tesco, they would have a massive job and cost in knocking down a stadium to turn into it a superstore. In short- I think that’s the worse case scenario for Blitz and his investment, but it will never happen.
  11. I thought you advocated him getting the job next season?
  12. This is often missed by a lot of fans. When/if we go into admin or the clowns leave the owner is usually on his arse and has to let it go for a song. Which AL could well be. . But then uncle Si turns up and wants his 6 mill off any new owner. Not a chance that will happen to anyone with a shred of business sense. If blitz doesn’t lower his price we are unbuyable IMO.
  13. She works in accounts. . . Or so the story goes.
  14. On the BPAS podcast, one of the sponsors said he didn’t like some comments from a senior member of staff, and someone you wouldn’t usually expect. I wonder if KE has said something to the sponsors? He does have history for shooting from the hip and being overly defensive. I leave it to your imagination to what could of been said. . .
  15. My hunch is, Baz is edging his This is it for me. There is no way he resigning, unless he thinks it’s going to come crashing down. Then he can ride back into town and hang out of the back of any new owner, saying- I left for morals reasons, and I could do us a great deal with the pies.
